Trials should cost money to play.
That way bungie can have more resources for making it more better.

Editado por Vulcan_Blitz: 4/6/2020 1:16:12 AMI strongly disagree, if this is the way they choose to solve the problem and players are supporting it just because it has the potential to temporary patch the leak then it will open an opportunity that will cause more harm in the long run, just like the ingame case shop did. Brainstorming and find other healthy solutions to fix the problem properly.

3 RespuestasEditado por Infamous067: 4/5/2020 10:35:19 PMNo... I already paid for the game, why should I pay to play trials? The game might be free to play now but we had a trials back in vanilla and the devs removed it, I cant agree to having to pay for trials unless the game goes back to where everyone has to purchase the game to play it. I already feel cheated as it is with the rip off mode, I don’t want another reason to hate it

1 RespuestaYou know this is such an odd thing to see on this forum. Like you'd think this would be something that's downvoted to oblivion for catering to no lifers and streamers etc.... But... Here we are

4 Respuestas
Trials should cost money to play. That way bungie can have more resources
I'm gonna stop you right there. More resources? You do realise that Bungie.net is worth $56,750,000, with an average revenue of $2,534,040 per year. Bungie are really struggling to make ends meat right now. https://www.worthofweb.com/website-value/https://www.bungie.net// The issue with Trials, and Destiny as a whole isn't money or resources. It's the fact that Destiny has a vision of one man who's acting like a dictator and not a leader. Luke Smith has HIS vision of Destiny, and here we are. Enjoying his vision. Bungie are also very incompitent as developers, but that's another story. Gran Turismo for example has a similar issue. Kazunori Yamauchi has an ideal, and a vision for the game and his employees do as they're told. GT Sport was the result of that. A shallow, boring, grindy mess of a game which ruined the reputation of a very well respected series. Destiny is following suit because of bad leadership and a 'vision' of one man instead of a community focused game where the players are at the centre of development choices. Sadly. Nothing you, or we say will improve Destiny. Not unless Luke Smith commands it. But I agree. The way to solve Trials is a form of 'Pay Wall' through a seperate Pass thing. Hackers are less likely to pay money for content -and seeing as Bungie aren't dealing with them through reports or bans, there needs to be a deterrent in another form to stop the hackers from getting in. However. The game in its current state isn't worth any money, and should stay completely Free2Play until they actually make some effort with the game.

7 RespuestasWhat an awful idea. Wonder which “influencer” thought this would solve anything, where people will just parrot it. Nm, reading below comments told me who. 🤦♂️ Downvoted emphatically
-
Now that I think about it, the people pushing for this are mainly streamers. Could this be a ploy so Bungie starts extracting more money? The create both the problem and the solution, SUBSCRIPTION BASED model. Ha! Brilliant.

5 RespuestasThe sooner Trials dies the better.
-
Or just better? That would’ve worked too.
-
MO Betta!!! Lmao

3 RespuestasDid this mfer just say "more better"?
-
4 RespuestasInstead of a paywall, just make it unavailable to F2P players.
-
I think this was lost on many. Might wanna slap a /s on there.

2 RespuestasEditado por Jet2Holiday: 4/5/2020 4:07:51 PMThis post and everyone that liked it are evidence of how Youtubers influence this community, which directly correlates to the state this game is in. News flash, streamers business model REQUIRES them to be at the top. Therefore, their suggesting are not geared towards the benefit of the average player. Their suggestions benefit them. Everything else be damned.

8 RespuestasEditado por Sinisis: 4/5/2020 2:59:32 PMI hate insulting people but this is stupid on so many levels that I'm impressed. 1. Let's start with the obvious: "making it more better"!? Could've been a mistake but when combined with the stupid idea of the post, it leads me to believe otherwise. Stupidity is a factor here. 2. We're barely getting content for what we paid for. Why would we VOLUNTEER to pay more for a game mode that is already free!? 3. Trials is free for a reason, it's garbage to begin with. They literally couldn't charge for it, in the state it's in right now. 4. Trials has already seen a huge decrease in playership, how would instituting a paywall make this any better??? 5. The fact that you ran to the forum right after your master streamer proposed that stupid idea, shows that you're just another mindless sheep. The streamers are looking out for themselves, not for the rest of us, remember that. 6. If you're a D1 vet, you've already paid for trials back then. It's poor and sleazy business to remove something you paid for and reintroduce it later on as new content for pay. Bungie had, at least, the common sense to know that we wouldn't accept that so they made it free.
-
I already paid for it, on wait you must be Luke Smith posing as a player just to get more stupid ass ideals put into the game. 🤡
-
Most cheaters are probably paid recovs. They have no fear of being banned because it's not even their account. A paywall won't fix anything because there will always be people willing to pay someone to go flawless for them, and for cheaters that's just easy money.

1 RespuestaThe game should have a paywall.

Does it matter who mans the gate or takes the toll on a path to nowhere?

It would make a ban more meaningful when you cheat and I can get behind this. But... The focus they have said this season is to work on quality of life improvements for f2p with heavy emphasis on pvp/trials, with a mid season pivot back to season pass holders.

Hi Luke!👋🏻
-
Make it better when? Pay them now and see a change in half a year? sorry but that’s not a smart transaction to make.
-
The only thing a paywall will do is further constrict Trials numbers while doing little-to-nothing to stop cheaters.
-
Why? So even less people will play it? Most of these peasants didn't even pay for this game. But yeah, let's just put a paywall on a pinnacle activity.
-
2 RespuestasNever underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers
-
That idiot Aztec noob suggested this now you copy pasta that idiotic suggestion. How about they get a better anti cheat system? Adding paywall to a game mode that caters to 1%. Do you know how many people will play it afterwards?
