It has finally dawned on me that Bungie does not respect our time, nor do they give a flying -blam!- about the people who have been here from the beginning.
I’ve thrown literally thousands of dollars at Bungie ever since I was a child. I was such a big fan of Halo, that I had Bungie’s Seventh Column (my forums emblem) tattooed on my arm.
I sat and played through every low moment this franchise has experienced because I had faith Bungie would pull through.
In D1, us Halo vets got special emblems to show our dedication. In D2 they completely forgot about us.
And now, they are straight up deleting emblem stats that people have worked hundreds, if not thousands of hours to obtain, while putting all of the cool loot behind a paywall and giving the community nothing of substance to chase.
Seriously Bungie, screw you guys.
I didn’t even log in to light the torch at the lighthouse for the savior title, because nothing we do even matters to you anymore. What’s the point?
I haven’t played since phase 4 of the fractaline donation, and I don’t need to play the game to see you’ve messed up big time again..
I’ve uninstalled Destiny for the first time ever. You’re vision is dead. You are not the same studio I used to dream about working for as a teenager. You are a husk of a legendary developer.
You took a franchise with so much potential and beat it into the ground so deep that you can’t even see it anymore.
You’ll never get another penny from me, and guess what, my small clan usually doesn’t play unless I do, so that’s even more money you have lost.
I will patiently wait for Halo Infinite to come out. Remember Halo? Of course you don’t, you blind -blam!-. You won’t even add CTF, a staple in any fps, into this game.
Get real...
TLDR;
Long time fanboy finally grows up and gives Bungie the middle finger.

1 RespuestaIts just the constant change of direction which makes it always seem as if they are testing the waters and using us as lab rats.
-
1 RespuestaI get the destiny 2 forum was dead as hell in 2004.

2 RespuestasEditado por I ColdEmbrace I: 3/12/2020 7:11:37 PMMythics got a sweet emblem for D1. We would actually have people ask to buy our accounts because there was no other way to get it! They gave us nothing for D2. We went dark... with only Deej mailsacks to guide us through. We stuck it out during the transition away from Halo and the uncertainty of what was coming. They have forsaken us! And the poor multiplayer and matchmaking limitations coming from Bungie who made their name off of those things!

1 RespuestaAs for someone who quit this game since 1 and half year ago, I truly enjoy coming here every now and then with my popcorn in my hand reading these posts/comments and laughing at the same shit that has been happening since Destiny 1. You guys never learn!

1 RespuestaEditado por Nemesis: 3/13/2020 5:30:36 AMGood read brother.. I couldn't agree more for me this will be my last season pass purchase from bungie. I told myself if they didn't step up to the plate I am gone. Been playing Bungie games since Marathon then Halo 1,2,3 and honestly I'm just done. The new DLC is a bounty simulator so tedious and boring. Tue I'll be playing Phantasy star online 2 on Xbox one. I've been playing it for 7 years on the PC Japanese server with a English patch and that game actually appreciates my time and effort I put into it.. only two games I ever deticated my time too was PSO2 and Destiny whelp now I'll be going full core mode on PSO2.. Thx original Bungie team for Destiny 1 .. I really wished you all stayed on board but I understand why you guys left. Bungie isn't about the community or feed back anymore like it was in the Halo glory days now it's full of bs like "we're listening" yea you're listening only to streamers and content creators like Datto and Luke smith definitely has destroyed what was great about destiny.. This Guardian is hanging up his boots and calling it a night..

8 RespuestasI'm sorry. Sincerely. I never had the luxury of knowing bungie, back in the day. What I've experienced over the last half decade or so? I want bungie out of gaming. They don't make games-- they make money. Then mis&manage the money ad nauseum. Every decision flys in the face of the player. I am sorry. I know how angry I am. I feel for you.

Just leave. The loss of revenue is a more effective message to a company than any forum post. We've had this conversation as a community countless times.
-
Lol it took you THIS long to figure that out? Dude, I'm sorry. That's one of the reasons I stopped playing the game
-
Totally agree dude. May i suggest you try division 2

1 RespuestaComes down to whether you have more fun playing FPS or RPG. Bungie’s DNA was all about story driven FPS. They don’t know how to RPG. My two cents is that power levels should be stripped from the game and it should give way to a story driven FPS. Less distractions and need for constant rebalancing this way.

Editado por SeniorBrad: 3/13/2020 1:42:28 PM15 years here and I haven't played this turd of a game since December and was playing less and less all last year. Been stung, lied to, disappointed etc etc far, far, far too many times through Destiny. Been actually playing through other games in my backlog and enjoying gaming again. Playing this is not enjoyable. It's a non stop, repetitive grind that disrespects your time and bores me to death. I have a job already that I have to endure everyday Bungle, I don't need another one.

7 Respuestas
You won’t even add CTF, a staple in any fps, into this game.
I'm sure they've tried it out in test. But if you think about it CTF just wouldn't work in Destiny. Imagine what would happen to the person carrying the flag in this game. In Halo you didn't have Titans Titaning around all over the place. I also started with Halo 2 in 2004, so much respect.

I respect this post. Oh The first Halo, those memories! Halo vet here aswell, still playing casual, but man destiny has gone low.

Co-signed, because that was some real -blam!- you said.

There's no need to hold on any longer. Even if you've been a Bungie fan since halo it's fine to let go, this isn't Bungie anymore. The good members of Bungie are gone and it's been taken over by a bunch of ex journalist, rainbow hair, pajamas wearing morons.
