Then why do you load into the game alot faster on pc? When they have the same servers

PC players are reporting bugs and longer loading times since the update too. Just not as long as console. So it's most likely because of the update and therefore server side problem.

I havent had anything. I load into the tower in about 5 seconds on pc

But if it were the servers it would happen to everyone not a few people here and there. and before you say its because your pc is powerful it isnt so it isnt that either. Its internet based on the people that ahve the issues side

This won't fix it. Mine is on a 3 tb external and still get the problems loading into the tower. It's been a lot worse since year 3 started.

He said external SSD, your using an external HDD which wouldnt be any faster than having it installed on your console. Here's links to 3 external SSD's at different price points if you want to upgrade to an actual SSD. There difference in loading times is night and day. You can load the tower in a few seconds. I mean having an SSD will greatly improve loading time for the tower but you are correct that every once in a while something else goes wrong that makes it take long to load amd when that happens an SSD wont help.

I have a ps4 pro with a 1T SSD installed. I load in generally before anyone else on most things. But these “extended flights” on crucible and tower are new.

I have external SSD with D2 on it, but last night I had a 4 minute had to the Tower, and then another later on over 5 minutes that I just gave up on and turned off the game. I think the new event had the Tower lobbies filling up

It seems pretty rare but I've had the same thing happen a few times. I usually load in 5 seconds or less since my game is on a 970 Evo but rarely it will take 5 minutes.
