Hello, I am a destiny player who has been in the game since season 2 of destiny 1. First, Sorry for my English, but I belong to the Spanish community where Bungie apparently has no one to collect information And I think Bungie should rethink the whole theme of the seasons, the eveverse, the Osiris trials etc. First let's talk about strikes. Currently they are useless, I prefer to do nightfall at 980/950 to get materials, rather than start doing strikes that do not give anything. I remember all the time I spent playing strikes of destiny 1, trying to get the exclusive armor and weapons of those strikes and I remember playing how fun it was ... that's why Bungie must make the strikes useful again and stop being there as decoration to complete boring adventure steps. secondly I want to talk about the crucible; I am not a PvP fan player, but I play it a lot ... and I think it is time for you to put that destiny 1 mode, where you had to capture the ball and score on the rival field. in Spanish it was called (Grieta) mode ... besides they should put the Osiris trialls back on! with armor as beautiful as those of destiny 1. and not like the trials of the 9 thirdly I want to talk about the seasons As for the seasons. I think they are badly raised. There are many seasons, each of which has little content and they take up a lot of work. it would be much better to have 2 seasons with 6 months duration each and with a much more interesting amount of content, instead of being € 60 DLC they could be € 30 ... that have history, new armor, weapons, modes of game like menagerie etc and with the inclusion of exclusive weapons and armor in strikes in crucible etc you would have people much more entertaining and fun. Finally, let's talk about Eveverse. we have lost the seasonal engrams, we have lost the luminous dust that the objects gave when breaking them and all this was not supposed to happen ... Activision was supposed to force Bungie to have eveverse and to include a lot of content there ... but Now there are only you and most things are almost impossible to achieve ... making the 6 contracts that give lumino dust, I get 1200 per character, that is, a total of 3600 ... but then you go to eveverse and you find that A gesture is worth 4200 ... so where is the logic here? If in 1 week I can't buy what I want. and don't tell me even silver! I have paid each and every one of the DLCs. which does not seem fair to me! that now I have to spend more money on evevers

Took 2 months off, came back last night..... bored to death.

D1 was more or less the same, there was just less of it. D2 is literally a list of chores. I think it’s a cardinal sin in gaming to make a heavily loot based game and then near constantly dictate player loadouts through pursuits. If you skip bounties because you only want to use the weapons you want/like, you will SEVERELY hinder your ability to progress the seasonal rank, and you’ll actually miss out on certain gear. Makes no sense. The main thing, if not the only, that should be dictating my loadout is the actual battle. The battlefield and the enemies I’m fighting. Not a bunch of arbitrary tasks.

Bungie can only maintain this game, they don’t have the team or resources to properly develop it with the depth it had in the first few years. That and the original braintrust that created and actually cared about the direction of the game is gone.

You can thank the liberals/casuals for ruining this game like they ruined this country.

The question you need to ask yourself is why is your point number 2 inconsistent with point number 4? Answer is players like to com plain and think what they want will fix 5he game when what is want is just as bad as what Luke Smith wants

Yup! D2 is fetting worse each day. People play it because friends play it and those friends play it because you play it. Talk with your friends and find a new game. The groups of friends keep the game alive, because it's a horrible game at this point. People don't come back to it because of the game itself, but because we enjoy playing with our consistent friend group. Destiny feels like a bad chore when you get punshed as a kid. Crucible is filled with unbalanced weapons, cheaters and horrible connections. Seasons are repetitive (and clones of the last one) and they keep the "best" for last and ends up being horrible. They release a good video montage about the new season and we fall for it again. It's a mind-game more than a good-game. FOMO and a good marketing group is all that the game has left. Made it to Unbroken this season and it feels "Meh!". Still a boring, frustrating grind with cheaters and broken guns. DESTINY needs to die soon.

I sometimes think bungie gets themselves so deep into a bad decision that the only logical way out is to dump it and move onto something new. D2 is a steaming pile right now, but has all the ingredients of a stellar game. Bungie just needs to stop thinking with only their bank accounts. The current model might be making them a lot of money, but at the cost of their integrity and reputation in the industry.

So you have no desire to get any good gun, ever, because you’re afraid it might eventually get nerfed someday?

Came back in December to help a couple of guys out (they quit already due to the grind, but I'm still having fun). Here's the deal: Take a year or so off and when you come back there will be more quests and exotics and weapons to go after than you have time to do. I just go after the stuff I want and ignore the stuff I don't. If/when I start to feel abused by the way Bungie is overseeing the game, I'll quit again. There are MANY great games out there, and Destiny is just one of them. EDIT: Oh yeah - and by taking a year off, the engrams from Tess actually give me things I don't have.

That's bacause it is. (a chore) In D1 you could literally sign in and be done with all relevant raids, NF's on all 3 characters in maybe 8 hrs total play time. Back then that's where all the best armor and weapons resided. Then you were done and able to get on with your life if you wanted to. Now you are required to make this game your life if you want the best stuff and the material to level it up. Low RNG and weapons locked behind bounties for material just drag things out to the point you question why you're even playing the game anymore. Just to repeat the process every 90 days!? They clearly only want no lifers, streamers, and YouTube people playing this game now. I mean, they even said it in one of the SK reveal streams. I think it was something like they don't want Joe Walmart anymore. Meaning they are moving forward with development for the hard core players base. Looks like they succeeded. This game wants too much from me now. I'm done🖐️
