Bungie... I live in America...

So could you please stop putting me in Mexico lobbies. In Portuguese lobbies. In Brazilian lobbies. In European lobbies. I live in America. How -blam!-ing hard is it for you to stop making people play from across the world. Whoever gets host, wins. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it. Because a team full of Mexicans with host is going to beat a team of Americans every time. Because your pvp has no dedicated servers. (Which most likely is not 100% accurate. I’m not a game developer. I don’t know. I was just mad when I wrote this. So I’m sure some of the technicalities I wrote are wrong. But the overall message of games being laggy when you throw people from several different countries in them remains the focal point and extremely accurate.) You can’t have it both ways. If you’re going to keep this stupid setup, then make people play in their own damn region. Jesus Christ. Here’s an edit: a few things I’ve noticed. Yes, I’m aware dedicated servers aren’t a universal fix. I know this. I also know there are better ways of facilitating multiplayer matchmaking. Bungie’s system works extraordinarily well when there is a massive and robust community from all walks. But with it so low, it struggles to create fair gameplay. That’s my issue. But I was trying to be as brief as I could to keep this short, ‘lest I get 1,000 too long, or stopped at first paragraph nonsense. People have short attention spans these days. Also, to the people commenting on my tag thinking that “god2kill” means I’m the best and I only lose to trash internet... no. Not even close. Long story short, my cousin and I created this nearly 2 decades ago, right after September 11th when we were in high school. It was our take on how weaponized religion has become. Though we are not religious, we are very knowledgeable and read a lot growing up. And we found it amazing that god used to be a figure to fear, a god that would reconcile reality to fulfill his demands. And somewhere along the way, god was hijacked and is now used as a martyr in name and spirit to push extreme agendas. God is not a god2fear, but now a god2kill. Yeah... not a narcissistic tag at all. And another edit: I am also aware there is no “host” and the game data is more spread across all players. I use host as a loose term to describe the majority of the lobby. As an example, if most of the lobby is from Brazil, and I am from the US and they are lagging all over my screen and I can’t connect shots... that doesn’t mean their internet is trash. That doesn’t mean mine is trash. That just means that there is a large portion of the game connecting very fast amongst themselves, while I am on the outside of the optimal connection to the lobby and might as well just emote in the corner and wait for it to be over. At that point, I declare that lobby to have a foreign host to me. So for people taking that in a literal sense and trying to say I’m completely wrong because I used that word fast and loose... grow up kids.
