It would seem to me, and this is my opinion that D2 is in a terrible state. There are loads of things to do but absolutely nothing of any meaning. Approximately this time last year there was a huge kickback after the terrible Curse of Osiris DLC and we started to get feedback on the game. Then came the Mars expansion ( Vicarious Visions) which marked a turn in the game and provided us with updates which improved the game.
Fast Forward one year - our guardians have been nerfed. Weapons are being nerfed. The game is buggy:
1. Bugs on new aspects of the game
2. Weapons with bugs
3. Frame rate bugs
4. Loading bugs
etc etc
Then we have the state of weapons whereby the mere fact that exotics, with the exception of a few are simply atrocious. The one reason that exotics are in a bad state is that simply legendaries with barrier mods etc are better.
I like aspect of armour 2.0 but its poorly executed - why can't I allocate the stat points or change the stupid affinity?
Then we have poorly executed quests - I am still baffled as to why Bastion was the reward for that quest and while I am at - can someone please explain the causative link between the Corridors of time which are mostly Vex and the Tangled Shore - and why I have to grind a load of tripe on the Tangled Bore? I digress.
Then we have the issue of Eververse - again Bungie - I would happily have paid an extra £2-£3 for the seasonal content to have more of what you have dumped into eververse put in the game. I suspect you would have made more in doing so but hey what do I know?
In Luke Smith long retrick speech/ post/ blog he wrote about the state of the game - yet here we are and the community are telling you that we are not happy with the state of the game and there is nothing.
Where is "love" that strikes need? Where is the worth in playing the crucible?
I recall vividly we had the Dev such as Josh Hamrick ( and dem guns) giving us vital and important information about changes coming to the game but now we have nothing. What we are expected to do is pay for the seasonal content and apparently be happy with the drivel being served up?
The issue you face Bungie is the menagerie set the bar of what you can do and do right.
Season of the Vex or whatever it was called - garbage
Season of the Yawn, sorry Dawn - garbage in places, ok in other.
Then we get to the mere fact that when we give feedback - we get the usual spiel about passing the feedback along to the Devs - I am fairly sure these Devs are like Keyser Soze - fairly sure they exist somewhere but they managed to convice us they don't exist.
EDIT - I have commented on the Forsaken Expansion in the comments.

You get to find and kill the devs on the last “season” because they ran out of ideas and the green screen rental is up.

Bungie: “that corridors thing was pretty cool huh”
-
You'll hear from the devs when they want your money.

2 RespuestasMy big issue is the lack of actual response. Which btw, this is bungies community forum and they response more on reddit..... Sad. You know warframes devs are frequently chatting with their community. And their patch notes are not only transparent but vast. Im starting to wonder why i got bored. Guess too much of a good thing eh? I mean not much different from getting sick of eating to much chocolate. Guess i forgot how awesome it was compared to other games. I certainly dont see nearly half a million people joining up on bungie streams. Forget content long enough, id be happy for an overhaul on existing content to make things more viable and balanced quality of life... Everytime something is released more stuff becomes obsolete than things being introduced assuming the new stuff is even viable. Need i even bring up the lack of modding capacity on exotics throwing them behind most legendaries. Or champions? Cmon. Not a hard concept. I would like season of quality where we dont get some story never to have any real wrap up or end. I want a game to seriously reign in on community desires and make them, dont feed us nonsense about how hard it is. Because thats not a complaint from any company that really cares about their consumers. Plainly put. Adapt. I play the game the way it is. Im close to my 7th triumph seal. At nearly 90k triumph score. So I play pretty much everywhere. The game needs to groom it's feathers before it tries to spread its wings and fly.

Bungle checked out before D2 even got released. Hell, Vicarious Visions had to be brought in to handle the pc version just so the game could make launch. There a lazy and completely disorganised company.

We will review the feedback after these messages -Unoffical C0ZM0

Where are the devs indeed. They have been pretty quiet on Twitter and Reddit also. And what little activity they had, they are ignoring all the people that are disappointed in bastion being the prize for the puzzle
-
Idk how they walk into the office everyday and say “hey, we are doing a good job here.”
-
The devs are working on a Chinese IP; all the interns are running Destiny 2 right now.

Busy ass licking eachother and smelling TenCent's communist farts.

24 RespuestasAll the nerfs are because of the PvP playerbase. They have been asking for nerfs nonstop. I think it is time to step away from PvP because that can only make the game better.
-
i honestly thing they are scared of these forums. reddit is slowly turning on them as well.

4 RespuestasWell said , i myself am a graphic artist in the games industry (for 25 years), and love what Bungie do, but yeah this isn't the way forward?... I'd happily pay £20 (double) a "season" for something of worth.. this "content" drip feed is almost laughable .... I started to play Destiny with the Kings Fall expansion of D1 this now is a pale shadow of that quality content ... I'm guessing only a skeleton crew are working on Destiny whilst the main team/teams have been moved on to new projects ?

Why are we still waiting on what made d1 great? Where’s the factions? Where’s the incentive to play strikes and crucible? Where’s trials? The weekly vendor refresh? Why aren’t they focusing on those core aspects of the game? Instead, they’d rather waste precious resources on making content that will go away in a month or two or features that don’t really add to the game. It seems like such a waste! They need to refocus on the features that people actually enjoyed instead of pushing out activities or features that get stale after a week I’d love to see Bungie give us an update at least explaining why they keep ignoring these features.

They are still on vacation

3 RespuestasAnyone else feel like the game has just run its course? I can’t imagine them dragging D2 out for another couple years while they work in D3. I’m already playing the minimum I have to to try and get through the season passes I’ve pre paid for.

8 RespuestasAlright, now that's a critique post. Well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

as long as they got £££ expect the same old copy paste response of out right ignorance until they need to sell something then the floodgates open

1 Respuesta*Rhetoric And you ask “where are the devs” They’re all busy with Bungie’s other IP D2 got the interns! (Didn’t you see Lion Shirt guy on the Dawn Season reveal?)

Probably in the office:’D

2 RespuestasMust say that I love this post. It’s so reasonable and so relatable. The game is fantastic but the content is subpar if it makes sense? I love destiny and I’ve used this account for 3 years but what I’m doing doesn’t seem relevant anymore. The narrative is weak, crucible is pointless unless you’ve got a quest that dips into it (I WANT END GAME REWARDS LIKE SHARDS FROM THIS ((nothing mega farmable so it retains value for example after you hit fabled you can’t drop below that so each first time rank up you get master work mats then every weekly rest or even fortnightly if that’s more balanced reset it?)). I digress the post makes valid points and should be passed along to the actual powers that be. Final note- Devs you need a voice if you want the community to be on your side. You look impotent and stumbling when you can’t communicate.

1 RespuestaGood points but I'm perplexed why so many of you waste text attempting to be quippy with word play and such. Season of "Yawn", okay we get it you made a rhyme.
-
2 RespuestasPart of the problem is that the gameplay is getting further and further away from what Destiny is, or at least from what it was meant to be. It feels more and more like an arcade shooter, and less like the RPG space-epic it was meant to be. There’s a serious lack of cohesion between the different activities. The way the story is presented and the way it affects the game just flat out doesn’t work. The writers seem to be trying their hardest to break the player’s immersion with how forced the humor is, humor that rarely makes sense tonally.
