Bungie.... Are you bringing back Factions or not?
3 Factions sit at the tower doing absolutely nothing. You mean to tell us that you can’t put weekly and daily bounties attaches to them so we could use them again or do you feel that it’s just pointless at this point.
Anyone else feel the same way? I’m sure it might not be as easy as it sounds to do but we already have gear, weapons and ornaments. Why not use them.

3 RespuestasJust bring back permanent factions. Buy the class item and wear it to get tokens from activities. Trade tokens for packages that contain random rolled faction armour and weapons. So simple. And add in the exotic class items again. Maybe from a drawn out but simple quest. Once you have the exotic class item, it increases the amount of tokens you get when wearing it.

A treasure trove of unused armor and weapons along with shaders just sitting there begging to be obtained, but Bungie can't bring themselves to just reactivate content venders with joining mechanics. I wouldn't even care if faction rallies never came back just so long as the faction venders remained open with each offering weekly and daily bounties for their members. Even give them weekly rotating items to sell to their members as well so that players can window shop the factions before deciding which one to join that week.

They'll bring the weapons back after reskin, don't worry about it. Curse of Osiris weapons are already coming back. Faction weapons will soon follow. The reason for this is that they don't have sufficient manpower for a full scale vendor refresh due to other non-Destiny projects.

Why? They were just vendors in different clothes. Bungie never did the “Faction” part of these characters any real justice. If factions actually made a difference or had any effect at all on the game world then maybe, but as it is now there isn’t enough content in the game to justify three more vendors.

2 RespuestasShort answer is "no." Honestly if they're not going to do anything with factions they should remove the vendors altogether. Remove the code entirely and add something useful in its place.

It's actually be really simple for them. Each vendor has the weapons and armor right there. In the game. Just slap on random roll combinations for the weapons. Random stats for the armor. Give them bounties or just have them drop tokens from completing things like strikes crucible matches gambit matchs. Would it take some work yeah sure of course. But it could and can be done.

The Factions are being totally ignored by everyone else at the Tower. This will undoubtedly breed resentment and cause them to throw their lot in with the Concordat when Lysander inevitably crawls out of the woodwork. The devs just [b]want[/b] you to think they’re too busy to work on them... WORLD BUILDING! (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

Why? Don’t you like the new eververse faction? All silver purchases increase your rank. Each rank level up grants you one nostalgic engram (or whatever they’re called).
