This is a design that I put together in photoshop, I know people like Nitris could do a 100x better job, but I did my best.
The console curser will be active (even if not visible on the image) and same goes with the mouse on pc.
The LFG doesn't require a platform select or character select in order to work, because you'll already be on your selected character on your selected platform when opening this menu (binded to the finisher button.)
The red and green lock symbolizes mandatory requirements (if any) and you won't be able to join that post if you fall short of them. (The creator of the post cannot set requirements that they themselves cannot meet.) Green = Requiremnt Met, Red = Requirement Failed.
There will either be a green smiley face (chill) or red sweaty face (sweaty/serious) next to a post dependent on the environment the activity is in. (Set by the Creator of the post.)
On the right is filters that you can select multiply of if you are indecisive on what you want to do, you can turn off/reset filters with the cross at the top. (Grid and icons may shrink as more activities are added) (D-Pad or arrow keys for quick navigation)
You can scroll down posts (smoothly, not snappy) with the l3 joystick (or the scroll wheel)
You can scroll through pages using the bumpers on console, and simply clicking them with your mouse on pc.
If you have any questions/feedback about the designs, leave them below.
If you want to have a crack at designing an in-game lfg, share it in comments.

2 Respuestas[nothing to say about the design. My only question is how would we access it? From the director? From the character menu? It’s important if we want it implemented.]

2 RespuestasYou only showed the outside but not showed the inside. Sound to me that this looks good in paper only...

Want this.

2 RespuestasI don’t understand that hard on everyone has for an in-game lfg system. The only people who will use it will be those who already use other forms of lfg systems that already exist. It’s be a waste of time and resources, which clearly they have very limited amounts of. Not to mention yet another thing that will flood the menus to cause an even longer load time on console.

1 RespuestaWhy not find a clan? Then use discord...

2 RespuestasEditado por Perfectionado: 10/24/2019 12:38:54 AMLove this. Made one kinda like it when I wrote my 3.8K word paper on how to add longevity to PvE activities like raids xD I think instead of the sweaty/happy faces, maybe stick figures in chairs as these are more 'appropriate'. I know what you mean, I'm sure others do but I dont think they would embrace 'sweaty'. For 'sweaty', use a stick fugure leaning forward in a chair and the relaxed one reclined on the chair :)

This is a cool concept! Well done!

this is pretty decent

1 RespuestaOn PC, I don’t know that it would improve anything. Alt+Tab-ing used to be 50/50 on whether it would crash your game, but since its rerelease on Steam it hasn’t been an issue. I can see how it’d be useful for console. For PC, though, the Discord server is infinitely more useful. Plus, Destiny’s in-game voice chat is some fat garbage, so you’d have to hop on Discord anyways if you’re doing something that requires communication.

I like this. gg.

You forgot the pisspoor element of LFG where people ask for dedicated loadouts.
-
That’s an amazing concept!

1 RespuestaVery well done, and you have all the bases covered. Don’t worry about other people doing a better job than you, this looks wonderful.

Pretty interesting. Wonder if it'll get more guardians out of their ghost shells as a result.
