Since Shadowkeep, the game never reveals the roster during matchmaking for any pvp mode. Please fix this! I shouldn't be forced to play against stacks when I could see the roster before just fine.
Hiding the roster is just awful. It's making my pvp experience horrible. I should be allowed to see who is loading in.
I don't want to play against stacks or laggy Russians because you think the UK is somehow compatible with Eastern Europe!!

The ability to see who's in the lobby and the map that's coming up so we can leave when the same two maps are on rotation you know like the other fps game Bungie made?
-
Honestly I don't get why they don't just show the lobby build right on the front page like COD does. Yes, it might take stacks longer to load into some matches but SO WHAT? So the answer is just to let them have easy wins as people just back out after loading and the match becomes a revolving door of people coming in and leaving? There ARE people who like the challenge of playing stacks and won't back out. IMO the practice of burying the roster down into a sub-menu instead of just displaying it right on the front screen is SHADY AF! I love the new solo queue in COMP .... I think the other modes need it too.

Editado por Wes: 10/9/2019 8:12:37 PMWell, team based matchmaking would address that. It would have to differentiate between friends and LFG 6 stacks though. It would essentially have to be a hybridized form of skill based and team based matchmaking. Right now the game would never make a team composed like an LFG Unbroken 6 stack. The current system would split those players into different teams or different lobbies entirely. They use LFG to create a team the system never would, and then abuse it. People who "Farm QP" with their "Must have NF" criteria should only face people with the same mentality. Period. Nobody should be put in a game against a team that is deliberately working around the system to boost stats or just be toxic. Skill based matchmaking doesn't even do this. A 6 stack like this has their rating so high the system struggles to find a fair match, so the search criteria widens until it does. This often leads to Mercy rules, as we've all found out. Linda sucks really.

Agreed, as usual bungie have not listened and brought this change in Now instead of just backing out of match making I now have to back out of the match while flying in through character change which leaves the teams uneven and ruins it for others! I have no desire as a solo player to face a 6 stack

5 RespuestasWe also greatly need the ability to block foreigners. It's extremely terrible on Steam with high latency. Probably 30% of matches have people teleporting or not taking damage.
-
2 RespuestasIt's intentional because they know that if you see stacks vs solos, you'll quit. Their mistake is thinking we won't quit once the game has started ... hint Bungie, I will always quit lol.
-
Bump. Stupid feature.
-
Just quit after you're in the game
-
1 RespuestaIt's to prevent games from starting with less than full teams. You guys let the whole "stacked teams" get to you before the Crucible says "go!"
-
2 RespuestasSeriously? They did this? First it was the connection bar and now you can't even see teams? That's a load of bs.
-
1 RespuestaEditado por NerfPaladins06: 10/9/2019 8:23:03 PMNah I think they should do away with inspecting in Crucible and Gambit altogether. No knowing who's on whos team, no knowing peoples loadout, no nothing. People need to learn to deal with things as they happen not beforehand.
-
5 RespuestasOP why are you complaining about this now after we gained a solo queue option?
-
Or fix the -blam!-ing MM
-
I f(u)cking hate that I can't see the roster anymore
-
7 RespuestasFor those of you "geniuses" who think taking away the ability to see team's on either side is a good idea, or timed restrictions for leaving a "quickplay" playlist like it's comp. Well this is taken from activision, and it encourages leaving even more, you cannot force people to sit there and take a stomping because you want them to, if you can't think of this then you do not understand what they mean.

Its almost impossible for a team to even find a match now bungie have tightened the SBMM screws so tight. And if you do match a team their probably trash
-
1 RespuestaThey did that to stop you from backing out and forcing your teammates to play short a person. This is Bungie’s response to selfish players.
-
3 RespuestasEditado por WP ScorpionWind: 10/10/2019 4:40:17 AMNo, if you really find it necessary to see you opponents gear you can use the destiny tracker. Regardless of when you leave you're still going to mess your team up. Honestly what they need to do is have quit penalty that makes it so people who quite because they're losing can't just start up another match, but have to wait X amount of time before they can start another match. You're going to lose, that's part of gaming. If a person can't accept that then they don't need to be playing.
-
Or add a weekly solo queue.
-
8 RespuestasCan't fix what's not broke. They made it so you couldn't see the roster while loading in so people wouldn't quit out of matchmaking when they saw a 6-stack of bottom-tree Strikers with OEM, Mountaintop, Recluse, and Hammerhead.
-
To all these people saying that it's to prevent people from leaving, there is a thing called change characters
-
1 RespuestaNot many people enjoy playing a six pack of sweats in QP when all they really want to do is get the weekly done. People would be jumping out of the lobby before the match even started flying in from orbit if they had they ability to see it in advance. I'm not saying they're right or wrong, it's just Bungie's way of controlling the situation.
-
1 RespuestaThis is a great change. Quitters can at least waste some time on loading screens now.
-
Fully agree with this. Understand it for Comp, but for the rest of the standard modes there was no need for it to be removed. Not everyone wants to play against 6 stacks or known laggy / questionable players. It just promotes players leaving whilst flying in or right at the start of the match. So we just end up with lopsided matches from the start and then hoping the game finds someone else to come in and bump up the numbers. This in turn adds to players frustrations of coming into a mtch where there are heavy and supers ready to go.

9 RespuestasPeople would just have a fake load out during matchmaking then switch after it ends.
