Morrowwind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online, I cant get enough.
A while ago I always thought it was insane how much people played through the Elder Scrolls series without trying them myself. “Why does this guy have 1000 hours on something like Skyrim? (Insert game here) is so much better than open worlds like that.” Breath of the Wild only solidified my opinion on open world games, which already wasn’t very good.
Then, I actually got past the intro on Skyrim. Magical things happened. Learned how to turn into a werewolf, got 100 in Sneak and Pickpocketing and stole everything from everyone in Riften (including the Thieves Guild), joined the Dark Brotherhood and enjoyed every minute of it, helped the Stormcloaks, and so much more.
Started a new play through and did most everything I chose the opposite of, as a knight who treated everyone like a piece of shit.
And there’s still so much more to do, like the Dawnguard DLC that I’m probably going to play through tomorrow.
And don’t even get me started on Oblivion. Dialogue is hilarious, and enjoyed every minute of it. I liked the Dark Brotherhood even more in Oblivion than Skyrim.
Elder Scrolls Online is your typical MMO and haven’t gotten very far, but seems like good fun later on, especially with all the DLCs.
And I haven’t even started Morrowwind (even though I’ve visited the area before), though I’ve heard great things about it.
Anyways. I can’t recommend this series enough, and will probably entertain me for years to come.

1 RespuestaI think I beat Morrowind in or around Winter 2002. It was my first encounter with the series and I had no previous knowledge about anything go do with the Elder Scrolls. Honestly, the first hour I had no idea what anything was about, and I wasn't even sure if I would enjoy playing through the rest of the game. Fast forward a few weeks and I'm knee deep in quests, hunting for rare armour and looking to track down Dagoth Ur. The game was clearly an exciting and immersive experience, and I was happy I discovered the series. Oblivion was fun but I never got into that much. Skyrim reinvigorited my interest in the series and I'm pretty curious to see how far the scope has come with the next title. Glad you're enjoying yourself!

1 RespuestaDisappointed I never played online. Feel like it's too late for me to get into it.

Dawnguard dlc is great, probably my favorite quest line in the game. Can’t wait for you to get to it.

2 RespuestasI never played any of them before, but have recently started Skyrim. It was a slow start for me, but one of my sons who has beaten it many times is my co pilot, and made getting going much easier. The thing I still can't seem to get used to is there is no light or dark ramifications. I'm playing it like KotOR, and trying to keep all my light attributes, then when someone wants something shady done, I've been avoiding them. I don't really like that there is moral ambiguity in this. It makes it seem like what's the point if there is no benefit in any action other than gold or stuff?

9 RespuestasI can't believe you chose the storm cloaks

If you like magic you will love Morrowind
Dagoth Ur welcomes you...
Skyrim had some truly great bits. I put about 1100h into it, still my record for a non-evolving game. I just wish they'd come up with a better resolution to the "Paarthurnax" quest. It was an insult the way it was. Also, I thought it questionable that you started the most evil faction's quest by killing the most hateful character in the game.

Elder Scrolls Series: *sees this post* "Thank you kind sir! Blessings of Mystara upon ye!"

2 RespuestasDaggerfall and Arena are free on Bethesda's website, if you didn't know. You aren't missing much if you skip them, though. Some classics are forgotten for a reason.

Same. Whenever I play a game, I get all the way into it.
