Seriously though all my 4 year old had to do was hold square down for a few seconds and poof there goes my outlaw rampage austringer, my max range DRB and retold tale, my snapshot quickdraw beloved, my traction stompees and all my other top tier rolls! I'm triggered...
EDIT: I don't know what makes you keyboard warriors think I'm -blam!-ing blaming bungie or anybody for that matter but myself, all I'm saying is it'd be nice if maybe you would have to type out DELETE when your deleting a character because lets be real here there's really no reason whatsoever to even delete a character. You get 3 slots, 1 for each class, only reason to delete and reroll is to change your race or gender... Holy shit -blam!-ing edge lords love talking shit over the internet
I do appreciate the funny replies though my son is the ultimate troll.

Is there really no confirmation prompt after holding down X?
-
1 RespuestaAt least you didn’t grind a second hunter to double up on raid loot today. Little disclaimer would have been nice bungie
-
Ooooh dear.... I'm sorry.

Lmao Little KirmitTheFrog in the making 😁

So basically you’re putting him up for adoption

1 RespuestaDude, I was almost there. Watched my 4 yo turn the PS on, open D2 and the moment he hovered over my hunter I knew it was time to remove the disc every time I’m not playing. Good luck.
-
I wish more people would stop breeding.
-
1 RespuestaLol lol is this your first kid? I remember the first time my oldest broke my PS3 controller and put a quarter in the disc slot. Now my other 2 kids aren't allowed in the man cave til 6+ lol lol you will smile and laugh about it years from now when you remember how young he was and that he -blam!-ed your stuff up.

2 Respuestasgood thing Bungie spends months developing the Collections tab!

15 RespuestasOne tryhard hunter less. Kid did this community a favor ;)
-
1 RespuestaLol. That is a you problem. Plenty of safeguards. And you could tell your kid not to touch the controller and put it out of their reach.
-
1 RespuestaSounds like your kid was saving us from another butt sliding shotgun hunter.
-
2 RespuestasMaybe... Maybe issue not on Bungie side?

1 RespuestaCharacter deletion should be password-protected, especially what with how common account recoveries are. I recall in D1, some Playstation player (a minor) was complaining that someone they had trusted to show them something on their Destiny account, proceeded to delete their characters. This should never happen, and the fact that Bungie allow characters to be so easily deleted even though there are locks for even Exotics that you can just pull out of Collection again, is just bad game design. The more important something is to a player, the more difficult it should be to do, whether it's to buy something in-game with real money, or to delete thousands of hours of work on a character. This is a feature that has been repeatedly requested since D1, to no avail. When I was a MUD admin, we learned pretty quickly the importance of having character deletion password locked, because we got trolls casting beguiling spells on opponents and then ordering them to delete their own character (because the coders forgot to leave out character deletion from the list of things players could order other players to do while 'charmed' :P).

2 RespuestasUser error 🤣

Oh man 😂 that is rough.

Now you know not to keep your controller in reach of children. Better luck next time.

After my 2yo nephew deleted my Mario Sunshine save that I was at about 80% completion (which was a fairly difficult game, not gameplay wise, but because the camera was wonky), I decided that no one but me would ever play on my saves again. He still got to play the game, just not from a memory card.
-
5 RespuestasWhy are you letting a 4yo play a game like destiny unsupervised. Believe you deserved this.
-
Turn the controller off, and/or put the controller out of reach of young hands.
-
2 RespuestasBe grateful you lost weapons and not a character.
