I think we are all getting TIRED of Bungie nerfing stuff as streamers request on their cry-videos, aren't we?
I mean, what a guy posts at his channel is just his/her opinion. Just like any other thread in this forum and it should be considered in that way.
If bungie's criteria is based on what these people say.... that is very dumb from Bungie. Honestly.

9 RespuestasHere's a thought: How do we know Datto isn't a paid shill for Bungie? i.e. Bungie wanted to make a change that they knew might be unpopular with a lot of the community, so they paid Datto to come out with a video talking about all the reasons it should be changed. Think about it.

What bungie is saying is that well of radiance was preventing them from creating a better pve experience. (I agree. I have been wrong in the past though, I thought removing shotguns/snipers was a good idea at first lol, dumbest idea ever.) But that said Datto didn't convince bungie of anything, the said they got these problems while developing content. Datto didn't sundenly give them astounding numbers that they didn't already know. They simply used him as a reference place where we could go to learn a bit about the numbers behind why well was breaking the game, this way we can see what is going on.

The Emperor has seen these "streamers/Influencers/Youtubers" their names alone abhores Calus, he thinks these are just titles to strike the egos of these ignosensitive individuals. To think of them as "progessional" is quite an insult to others who do indeed hold such title, these "video games" you humans utilize are meant for entertainment yes? Every time the Emperor listens to people call others professional gamers he writes down a list for his Shadows to pursue and silence. The idea alone is abhorrent and malnutritive. Many of them look like they have a sickness and very disproportionate biological complexities, could be poor genetic structure and for that the Emperor wishes to grant them mercy and put them out of their misery by erasing them from existance and time.

These guys (like Datto) play this game for money and truly care about it from what I have seen (which isn’t much) and they seem to be spot-on with their opinions. Now, MOST streamers are just trying to get views and stir shit to do just that. The very few (4-5 maybe) can have an opinion as valid as any of ours.

Just because a content creator shines a spotlight on an issue that needs to be fixed and then it's fixed does not mean that it was fixed JUST BECAUSE that content creator mentioned it. One does not necessarily mean the other. To think that a major studio like Bungie is at the beck and call of random YouTubers is just plain stupid. There have been bugs covered by Datto and other Destiny streamers before as well and those were fixed too. Does that mean they were fixed JUST BECAUSE they were mentioned by a YouTuber? Of course not. They were likely already on Bungie's radar. And so was Well. There is not a single solitary chance in hell that Bungie was blind to the fact that almost every end game activity was broken down to easy mode by Well of Radiance spam. Use some common sense people. Just because you are butthurt about a Nerf does not mean you should abandon basic common sense in order to whine about it.

I don't like him and he certainly doesn't speak for me or represent my opinions.... STOP pushing him on us! So many sheeple can't think for themselves and just parrot back whatever diarrhea happened to fall out of their favorite streamer's mouth that day. I truly believe Bungie thinks they can control player opinion by catering to these streamers so the streamers lap up whatever shit nerfs and such Bungie wants to serve up. Honestly it's sickening and it's really making me think my gaming days may be drawing to an end.

Using Datto's complaints about Well of Radiance and particularly paired with Lunafaction boots, he (and clearly a volume of others) believe they make the PvE game too easy, even endgame content. When I say a volume of others, a lot of people will a lot of exposure shouting it can still be a minority, for the record. I raid A LOT, as well as other tough activities as soon as they come up, and naturally we use at least one warlock running this combo ALL THE TIME. This is because I agree with Datto and others in the sense that the Well+Lunies make just about any encounter too easy....FOR US. I would say that (subjectively and with educated assumption) statistically people of content creators skill levels are in fact a MINORITY of the playerbase and thereby adjusting things because it makes things too easy for these groups is a bad idea IMO. This is reflected by still very low raid participation statistics and other things like a rampant PvE recovery market despite all of these "overly powerful" items that make all the content " too easy". What might make Crown of Sorrow a cake walk to the likes of math class and redeem might actually be making it barely just achievable for many, MANY others. Adjusting something like this combo as an example only, will only broaden the gap between PvE skill ends, and ultimately potentially hurt participation and completion rates for the overwhelming population of players who don't play this game literally as a sole source of income.

Did anyone read anything else in the DC besides the part that said "here's a video from Datto that explains this?" It was highlighted so I'm sure that set off a lot of sirens in some peoples' heads. Why are people acting like Datto is some kind of Kingpin with Luke on speed dial that just gets what he wants whenever he wants it? Paragraphs about how balancing weapons vs. boss encounters needs to be and is going to be an ongoing thing with a game like this and all people saw was the word Datto. If you guys want don Datto to have less influence over the game how about trying to give him less influence over the community and the forums. One sentence, ONE -blam!-ING SENTENCE, and that's all anyone is talking about. That's influence guys and gals. And the saddest part is the logic that says the only reason Well is being nerfed is because he said so. Its just not the case no matter how hard people try to make it out to be.

Bunige knew it had a Well problem long before Datto's video. Now we'll see if Titans feel forced to run bubble all the time with Weapons of Light.
