I just opened up all of my Solstice packages and disappointed doesn't say it.
All 3 characters have majestic armor, most came with crap rolls. I opened up the last 61 packages i had across all 3 last night.... its feast or famine with these.
14 packages in a row and nothing but blues, opened another 12 and got the Gauntlets 3 times.
After I ran out of packages I ran more EAZ to get more. Mostly blues out of those but the legendaries that I did get shouldn't even be in the loot pool.
Tangled Shore armor has absolutely no business even being in the loot pool, EAZ and Tanled Shore are 2 totally different locations, sorry, but no.
Edit: I see all these posts about how random RNG is but I got to say it's not so random for me

How "random" is 5 out of 6 pieces of armor with sword reserves?
Edit 2: I got another helmet for my Warlock, guess what? It was sword reserves also. Facepalms

I’ve learned to take advantage of all these people that are quitting at the boss for their Miniboss kills. If you need to Farm packages Basically load in until u get an instance at the boss. Usually 2-4 times loading in u get an instance where people have left since this is very common. Way shorter then killing the mini bosses, and usually these people are trying to be efficient so there’s 7-12 chests per run.

Yeah, I feel you. The VAST majority of those packages just give us trash. It's completely absurd getting blues for rewards at this level.

[spoiler]Well, here's my theory, Bungie added the Tribute Hall and the event for Eververse to have People use up their Bright and when Shadow Keep drops the cost will be jacked up using bright dust once again making the grind longer then it is now that is an unnecessary grind at this point. Now some might say "Bungie announced that you will get Bright dust running activities". This may be true, but why? Why hand them out if the cost isn't going to be high to purchase items for cosmetics, etc... that prior to the Tribute hall and the event were handed out like candy with everything else like shaders to collect bright dust and Legendary shards? Then there are the cores that are being handed out like candy now through the event and with all the loot boxes that you can collect from the event, how many legendary shards do you think you will collect running the event? I don't think Shadow Keep is going to be any better when it comes to the grind, I think it's going to be worse and Bungie is going to try to pass it off that it's better, but knowing how things have changed and when the event is over going back to the handing cosmetics out like candy that no one cares about? Re used garbage to enforce a poor quest idea put in place despite the negative feedback from Iron Banner. A complete time and resource waster along with a lost opportunity for greatness. Seasonal boxes should have seasonal things in them or at least dust. This is Game designed in flaws for profit most likely. I cant see anyone being that incompetent by accident.

The gear is FUGLY ! 10$ for one set of Glow ! The grind is soul suckingly horrible ! And yes I did it before nerf ! So horrible ! Like celebrating your birthday by being dragged through a cactus farm naked then dipped in peroxide ! For a sparrow lmao Love Destiny HATE how they try to gouge players for loving the game ! 10$ for Glow is just a total slap in the face to players . I’ve spent cash in Eververse before for silly things , but this should have been part of the so called CELEBRATION ! Just a total low blow Bungie can burn and die !

1 RespuestaNot trying to be rude and I 100% understand your frustrations. But true random could be getting the exact same item every single time. It seriously sucks. There should be a random prevention modifier like after 20 boxes you have 100% chance at something awesome. But every time you get something good the percentage should fall. No game should ever use true random.

7 RespuestasJust do what I did; get your first set and have it roll god tier perks for a sniper build, then open 10 packages and get a set of shotgun god-rolls. People keep making the mistake of opening a ton of duplicates. Nog sure why everyone keeps opening crappy packages 🤷♂️

If the loot pool is truly random that means that streaks like that will arise. If nobody experienced “bad rng” then the loot pool would not be random.

I'm just farming all the consumables. Hopefully there's a reason in Y3 to have a stockpile of all these planetary materials.

I'm in a similar situation, I have opened over 200 packages on my Hunter+Titan and nigh on all bar 3 have been utter garbage. A solstice package should give 1 thing and 1 thing only when you have your majestic armour unlocked, More majestic armour with various rolls and nothing else, Preferably with rolls pertaining to the weapons you have equipped but that's asking way too much of Bungie sadly. I like Bungie but the devs and the decision makers need to sit down with normal players and have very lengthy talks, Not streamers who play 15 hours a day.

Yup, and that is y I only did this update with 1 character. Waste of -blam!-ing time grinding 3 characters to get gear that alot of players will not use in shadowkeep.
