It's hard at times playing for fun when looking at how not much has changed in 2 years. I used to run the raids a lot in D1 because of what they offered. That was fun for me because there were things to chase and IMO the raids were designed better.
D2 has things set up similar as D1 but it's lacking vs D1. There are only so many times I can run the repetitive content just for fun without any form of rewards. Looter shooters are usually designed to have loot to chase and without that the game becomes boring and when you overdo the grind it becomes annoying.

Why do some people do this to themselves? You do know there is a thing called mute, it's an option everyone has to use if they want to, but some love torturing themselves. Way? I mean if someone bothers me that much I mute them, I don't keep reading things they say looking for a reason to make myself mad, angry, upset and lose sleep over it. Some have been doing this to themselves for a good couple of years now. It's mind-boggling on why they do this. The interesting thing about it? I said nothing to them at all. Hmm, how does that work?

D2 has a bigger and more powerful loot pool than D1 did.

I miss strike specific loot in Heroic Strikes. The Nightfall exclusiveness is boring snd tedious.

Its not like Destiny 1 was swamped with amazing loot to get. It always pretty quickly got to the point where you’re really only playing because you enjoy the game.

As far as D1 not being swamped with amazing loot? I have to disagree on that knowing D1 had the most sought out gear/weapons between both games and Bungie is still using a lot of D1 loot as a carrot in D2. It's been all over this forum for the last 2 years on how bad just the gear alone looks in D2. I have never seen so many people complain for 2 years on how bad most of the gear looks in any game, only D2.

That’s something I’ve always disagreed on big time, but I’m aware that I’m in the minority. I actually love the aesthetics of a lot of the Titan armor. If you wanna hear a really unpopular opinion one of my favorite sets is the armor from Spire. And I’m actually pumped for that astronaut set. Always wanted a full set like that since the Taikonaut helmet was a thing. I can’t really speak much for the other classes. I only really play Titans and I honestly don’t really pay attention to anything else.

Like yea, they went from one extreme with never getting exotics in D1 to making it rain with exotics in D2, but it was in [i]a [b]lot[/b][/i] better of a place then, than it is now. Yea team shooting in pvp sucked, and you couldn't go lone wolf it Halo style like you could in D2, but once you [i][b]learned[/b][/i] it, it wasn't bad at all. Like I went from an over 55% win ratio in the very 1st season of Iron Burden, to winning 1 in every 15 games in the later seasons.

It's fine that you like some of the gear but most are not fine with a lot of it and that should give Bungie a heads up.

It's all good, I'm just saying nothing more. Sorry if that came out wrong. I'm looking at the overall that is not giving a lot of people that incentive that D1 actually did because the quality in-game content that was offered.
