I enjoy Gambit and prime. I mostly run solo and do well. If I play in a team we typically win.

Gambit favors pvp players and a select few weapons. If you’re not running the meta you loose to the team that is.
-
The meta in gambit is pretty varied tbh.
Gambit favors pvp players and a select few weapons. If you’re not running the meta you loose to the team that is.
I’m sorry, I wholeheartedly disagree with this! I am not a PvP player as such and overall I do well in Gambit and Prime. As for “running the meta”, I have never seen a meta for Gambit nor Prime.

The meta shifts whenever something new and powerful comes out, right now the truth is the meta. If you invade with 4 rockets you’re getting 4 kills.
The meta shifts whenever something new and powerful comes out, right now the truth is the meta. If you invade with 4 rockets you’re getting 4 kills.
To be very honest, I don’t see Truth that often - yes, people use it but it is certainly not meta.... certainly in the games I have played. I truthfully, do not see a meta in Gambit nor Prime, but I’m only basing this on the games that I have played so it may well be different for you and others.

I am decent at PvP, but hardly invade. I usually use my skills on killing ads fast and killing Invaders. Is that what you mean? Meta tools win any game not just Gambit. Why be mad at the game?

Sorry I’m not good enough to grind for the recluse, why punish casual players when that activity was meant for us?
-
Loaded question is just as good as recluse. Probably better in gambit prime. I prefer it over recluse in every situation except when I want to snipe. Then you have shotguns with either 1-2 punch or trench barrel. I use a 1-2 punch shotty and I prefer it over everything else. Power slot I switch between 1k voices, wendigo or black talon. You can pretty much use any primary. but stick to handcannons/pulses and keep a scout in handy for the bigger maps.
Sorry I’m not good enough to grind for the recluse, why punish casual players when that activity was meant for us?
Honestly, you do not need Recluse for Gambit nor Prime, yes I guess it helps but there is plenty other weapons that you can use that is just as effective and even better.

It's a competitive game mode, where does it say casuals only? Don't try hard? Lol. You know they have private matches if you want to do a bows and side arms game type.
-
Smuggler's Word and Hush are actually good weapons in gambit.
-
It was just and example of non DPS weapons. Can they out do mountain top recluse?
-
Editado por rainbows: 7/20/2019 12:43:02 PMI can pretty consistently get higher add kills and even boss damage than recluse/mountain-top users with smuggler's/loaded question. Obviously recluse might still be better - just that sidearms and bows aren't really non-DPS weapons. Bows generally do higher DPS than other long-range weapons by a solid margin, and sidearms do slightly less DPS than SMGs albeit with much more consistency and ease of use. IMO 'non-DPS' weapons in gambit would be things like autos and scouts. IMO top tier gambit legendaries are hush, smuggler's word, and recluse.
People like you are what drives away the community. *Insert actual problems with game modes that make them unenjoyable *all the sweatys* hahahahha noob get good kid
I find your anger strange and not called for, when people are only trying to help? The thing wi Gambit and Prime is, winning is irrelevant until it comes to Legend Rank. You still rank up, you can still get rewards, you can still get great weapons ie Bygones, Parcel, LMS, Spare Rations etc to drop. They say Prime is the Competitive version, but it is not - there is nothing competitive about Prime at all.
-
Why don't you play with your clan? Should make it easier. The strength of the pack is the wolf. The strength of the wolf is the pack.
-
Someone’s a bit butt hurt, got you to go all the way to my profile for some ammo. Sweatys gonna sweat. While you’re on my profile why don’t you take a look at how long I’ve played destiny and destiny 2
-
Casuals are casuals because they leave the game when it gets too grindy. It's ok, there's other games for them to play when things get tough.
-
Without casual players destiny would have no fan base.
-
False destiny would still have a fan base without the casual players. It would just be smaller
