My family, friends, and I all had our own characters and a little lores for our games and stuffs set in the Old Republic era. My sisters and I even made our own alien race of Force Vampires, because we loved vampires and had to have them in all the things.
To add to the cringy special snowflakyness, we were also the last of our kind after the Jedi and Sith tore our planet apart trying to recruit us into their war. Since we fed on the Force in other creatures, we could be used to track Jedi and Sith, so both sides wanted us to themselves. Or something, this was over twenty years ago. I don't remember our shitty lore.
We were separated when we were young. One of my sisters joined the Sith and became a self proclaimed Lord. The other and I became Jedi, but while her character became a Master, mine was SUPER EDGY and went rogue, joining my cousins Mandalorian merc squad to hunt Jedi and Sith for credits.
Despite all the fancy backstories we made, our games were mostly just three way lightsaber/blaster fights. And Lego armies and starship battles.

This was like 20 years ago when the only source material we had were the movies and a few video games.

The good ol' days, I have my own.

I especially loved our Lego games. I still have them packed away, four large plastic containers! We used to build our own armies out of clones, stormtroopers and droids, plus anything with robes or sci fi armor for Jedi and Sith. We also used different colors for our ships and vehicles, all of my ships were black and crimson or purple (those colors were still pretty new at the time so I didn't have many) I think my Sith sister had the largest army since I have something like twenty stormtroopers plus the other fancier units.

*sighs* we've still got our tub.

That may seem lame to you but that is still awesome. My siblings were too young to play Jedi, or even to make cool lore. I mostly played with Transformers and Thundercats with a few kids here and there.

Oh it was awesome back then, but when I read old stories and notes I wrote on those characters and games I can't help cringing a bit

I hear ya. I have old stories laying around and they're uh...kinda bad lol
