I know, right? They admitted to running a known cheat program and cannot understand why they were banned.

Its because the program wasn't targeted at destiny 2, with cheat engine you have to select the program you want to alter, cheat engine can be used for lots of different things and nothing on my actual account shows any evidence of cheating.
