So Huckleberry is an exotic that has largely fallen out of favor since Warmind, I actually haven't seen it since Warmind. While it is one of my favorite exotics, I think it need a buff in Crucible, currently it does 20 to the head while other 750 rpm smg's do 22 and I believe it's body shots do 1 or 2 less than other 750's as well, I believe buffing Huckleberry 's damage to match that of other 750's might actually bring it in contention to be a decent option for pvp, what with last words and recluses running around, I think a huckleberry buff would be warranted and in my opinion is long overdue. It is an exotic after all and it should have some redeeming qualities.

Personally I think exotics should exceed any weapon or armor in the game. Period.

Editado por l09047: 5/9/2019 5:59:03 PMgambit prime weapons can roll with a number of perks like overflow, sustenance, swashbuckler, rampge which are equal to wat huckleberry does. so basically it's bullshit and makes that exotic useless.
-
They nerfed its damage to keep it inline with other SMGs when firing at full speed. Which I disagree with. Its an exotic it should be better than legendaries.
-
1 RespuestaNot a very accurate statement. Huckleberry increases fire rate just by holding down trigger, so it's very solid up close. The problem is all smgs have fallen from favor because of shotguns. If you want to counter shotguns without just being another ape you need a fusion.
-
Needs a nerf. Should be good for pve
-
It's pretty solid in PvE with the catalyst and puts out some nice damage. Problem is recluse is the SMG of choice and is legendary.
-
1 RespuestaA catalyst that adds zen moment and a stability buff would be excellent for this exotic.

2 RespuestasI love huckleberry. Use it constantly lol
-
Huckleberry isn't necessarily a 750rpm SMG though, since its gimmick is that it increases in fire-rate as the trigger is held.
-
It increases rate of fire when holding down the trigger right? So I think it actually hits harder than other 750s because it turns into a 900, if I remember correctly
-
Nope. I tear shit up with Huckleberry as it is. It takes a little recoil control, but it’s super solid.
-
They need to change the catalyst to something with stability. I was seriously disappointed that it added ambitious assassin. Seriously, it’s a gun that automatically refills the mag, ambitious Assassin is virtually useless on it. The stability is just atrocious
-
The Huckleberry is fantastic but I am in agreement a buff could be interesting especially with the meta potentially shifting again soon.
-
2 RespuestasAmong SMGs, the Huckleberry is find. I actually used it in Gambit for a good while early Forsaken. It’s SMGs in general that need a buff, not just this one gun.

Editado por Zizin: 5/10/2019 6:05:49 AMHuckleberry shreds in the EDZ forge. Well, that's for PVE, I can't say the same for PVP tho. In PVE, when you've got a horde of mobs rushing you, a mix of low health ones like Thrall and red bar knights, I usually expend half a clip on the knight, then turn to shoot the Thrall, get back full ammo then finish off the knight. That way I never have to reload and just keep shredding thru until there are no more mobs left for the MW effect to proc. You can do the same for the forge too, shoot Cabal gladiator then kill psion, get full ammo then shoot gladiator again.

6 RespuestasHuckleberry is already pretty good in PvE. Most SMG's are crap in PvP anyway.
-
I think it's pretty good. Just wish the exotic perk didn't make recoil worse... Seems kinda dumb
-
This is my D2 Bad Juju. Masterworked is just disgusting at unlimited supers.
-
3 RespuestasIt needs a new catalyst imo, I mean overflow? Really?
-
TOTALY usless in PVP, quite useless in Gambit prime, awesome in Gambit and PVE. One of the best weapons to kill a large group of red ennemies.
-
7 RespuestasHuckleberry is a PvE gun. It’s godly in PvE with the catalyst. Not really a PvP gun at all
-
3 RespuestasMy question is this: Why would I use Huckleberry when Recluse is better in every single way?
-
It needs to become an open world legendary pinnacle weapon. It’s barely as good as recluse, I would say worse because it takes an exotic slot.
-
It already got a buff.. its called Recluse.
-
It fires FASTER than other 750's.
