Theres a milestone every week to complete 20 bounties. If you do 20 Core bounties you have 20 cores. If you do none, you have no cores. If you do 20 non core bounties, you have no cores. 3 characters per week...

I sat down and thought about this. Could there be a better fix? Absolutely. But looking at the amount of bounties we have, and the amount of things that could be done under an hour... ...guys that's a ton of cores.

Kids nowadays. No appreciation for standing on boxes waiting for HVT’s When I were young I would give anything to stand on a box and wait for 30 minutes to see an HVT. Youngsters just don’t get it nowadays. I would give my youth for that whole master work core.

SAME I completely, unequivocally [b][i][u]REFUSE[/u][/i][/b] to actively do [i]any[/i] of these new bounties for an "enhancement" core. The only reason I do the scrapper bounties is because it's by complete accident. I've never once actively gone out to complete a scrapper bounty's requirements. The whole core system since [i][b]Day One[/b][/i] when they were introduced in Curse of Osiris has been an absolute joke, even back when they were called Masterwork Cores... That being said, I was less offended and bothered by them being a thing when they were used for [i]MASTERWORKING OUR GEAR[/i], and more so bothered by their completely absurd scarcity even then. First off, our gear isn't called "Enhanced" gear, it's called "Masterworked" gear. So idfk what their thought process was behind even that change. Second off, I don't masterwork anything anymore because it's just not worth it. You don't get enough cores to even warrant it unless you exploited glitches in the game because it costs so damn many to fully masterwork anything. The only thing I use cores for is for infusion, and that's because I'm forced to use them. Hell, I can't even remember the last piece of armor I masterworked, let alone any of my weapons. Probably sometime during Warmind?? We didn't have any extraneous resource requirements in D1 for infusion, so I don't understand why they thought we needed something like this now. Motes of Light in D1 served a similar purpose to cores, but they were relatively easy to come by simply by leveling up past max level (40), and you earned 5 at a time. Beyond that, you just needed glimmer, armor mats/weapon parts and legendary shards... If anything, they should just bring that system back!

Honestly materials are more annoying than anything else. Not because it's difficult, it's just a boring chore I don't like doing lol.

Bounties are unnecessary anyway. Why the game went from just playing an activity rewards you while you play it, to go load all of the areas to pick up .jpg files to then be able to be rewarded every day is asinine.

Bounties take like 3 minutes.

The bounties should yield atleast 3-5 cores. I'm not waiting around Nessus waiting 40 mins for a wanted captain to spawn just for a single core.

We already do it with scrapper bounties. Just play the game and they get done. I have never even looked at what the objectives are.

I completely agree - cores should drop from regular activity, since they are used to infuse. If they were only for master working then I would be fine grinding them out, but right now it’s a crap system. I’m LL 700 so why does all gear drop at 681? This means I have to infuse decent gear so I can run the reckoning t3... playing with different load outs sucks right now because the investment is too high.
