8 RespuestasI'll tell you what. Borderlands 2 was hella fun. I was mostly taken in by its sense of humor. Commando and Tecnomancer where my favorite to play. I remember when me and bro discovered slot machines we became addicted for at least a day. Overall it was an awesome and un-forgettable experience. However the Pre-sequel is a different story and I mean I know the story was different because it was the prelude too 2. While the story held up, the game play and what was happening.. Was just kind of boring. Not something I really enjoyed my time with too much. This ultimately leads me to believe that Borderlands going forward won't end up being as much fun as 2 was because 2 was definitely and most definitively, the most fun game they have had made. I just don't think they can do it again.

The game that borderlands 3 will kill though is anthem. Anthem should be the ones worried as they bring in the looter shooter crowd and borderlands is the king of the genre. Bioware you need to seriously bring everything to the table!!

Why make these posts? Sure borderlands is a long awaited game and it will be amazing but we all know no game will be the death of destiny because there is no game like destiny yet to kill it if you know what I mean. That's if bungie doesn't kill destiny before one comes along that is 🤣

2 RespuestasWe've seen so many posts over the years with "___, the Destiny Killer." Insert any game... Division, Anthem, Borderlands, Call of Duty, Fortnite, Apex... you name it. Yet either the game turns out horrible at launch.. Division 1, Anthem... or people become bored and go back to Destiny. Borderlands offers a different kind of gameplay, both have there own things they offer. It always amuses though... seeing someone post "Oh this new game coming out is going to be the killer of Destiny! It's going to steal the player base!" Yet... the player base has been constant and the same across both PvP and PvE. At this point, why both saying ____ game is going to ruin and kill Destiny? It's like saying ___ game is going to kill WoW- which a lot of people said "Oh this new game is going to kill WoW! It's so much better!" Yet WoW stands still... and so will Destiny.

I’m sure Borderlands will kill absolutely nothing since games in the same genre can coexist (There are 3 active “Shlooters” currently and they maintain a moderate to healthy player base. This won’t change.

IDK if it’s safe to hitch your wagon to any new game in this genre nowadays. Given what’s occurred or more importantly not occurred with this franchise over the past 5yrs compared to newly released supposed “Destiny Killers” I’m not buying anything until after the games launched, been out for awhile, and independent reviews are favourable.

9 RespuestasIt won’t kill destiny. Many games tried and failed. It will be hyped, it will be big at the start. Then players will tire of it, and play other things. Not to mention we are likely getting a content drop is sept for destiny. Borderlands can, and will, survive alongside destiny, not kill it.
