I have never, ever engaged in any cheating, modding, or malicious behavior while playing. Destiny 2 is sort of my life right now, and I would not risk an account ban for something like an aimbot or a mod.
I've spent hundreds of dollars on Eververse items and I've devoted hundreds if not thousands of hours to this game.
I've read Bungie's policy on bans. I know that they don't discuss them. I don't want them to. All I want is for them to look into my account again and check if I actually cheated, because I'm damn sure that I didn't.
Thanks for your help. I've been playing Destiny since it came out. I love the game, I love the community. I don't know how to react after seeing that ban message.
Please look at my stats. Does it look like the stats of a cheater? I do well in PVP sometimes, but I'm certainly not hacking or cheating.

12 RespuestasI used to read these ban appeal posts with an eye-roll and a shake of the head but I'm starting to think something is up now. There are so many of these and the one thing 99% of them have in common is... they're all on PC. I'm a console peasant. Always have been and always will be. I like my set-up in my living room with my PS4 linked to my big TV and DTS surround system and I like playing with a controller. It would seem with Destiny 2 that I'm definitely better off sacrificing 60 FPS for not having these ban/restriction risk problems. I don't know many PC gamers, but as far as I'm aware even fewer have a dedicated gaming rig. If most people are using the same PC they use for day-to-day business or studies, surely this means Bungie need to dial back their detection tools? Is this a thing with other games? The irony here is that so much of Destiny 2 content now is reskinned or outright rereleased versions of Destiny 1 gear. I've always reluctantly accepted that Bungie's reason for this is that most PC players won't have seen any of it anyway so they can recycle to a previously untapped market. I experienced the advantage of this practice from the other side in Titanfall 2 as I had never played TF1 on Xbox, so it was all new to me. But now the very same players who are the new target audience seem to be getting the short straw. A few cheaters crying in the forums is one thing; but it's literally every other post in Help now. In the meantime, could affected players post screenshots of the actual message? No idea if it would help, but maybe someone out there could shed some light if we could see the actual wording?

2 RespuestasEditado por Niinja Slayer: 4/3/2019 6:48:44 AMBungie, re-check this player’s account and see what he did.

7 RespuestasBungie's anticheat detected something either in your gameplay or on your rig that it felt it violated the game's policies, it then flagged your account for review, Bungie SRT Staff members then reviewed your account, validated the reason for the flag, confirmed it violated policy, then manually placed the ban. It does not mean that you cheated or even tried to cheat. All it takes is running a restricted app at the same time as destiny 2 and you can get banned. If you have read the policies then you know that bans are permanent and they are not going to reply to this post.

1 Respuestai wonder.... Bungie usualy laugh at glitches, and stuff and just fixin it instead of givin players a ban for using glitches that bungie missed. if you got Ban, then theres a big chance they got good reason to it.

3 RespuestasRIP, wallet whale. Though Bungie may have harpooned you, you will live on in my memory for at least another 10 minutes.

i heard they especially ban good look, very attractive destiny players... So im wondering why you got banned to begin with?

3 RespuestasIm sorry you got banned man, that really sucks. Dont listen to the chorus of haters yelling 'Bungie said they dont review or talk about bans ever so stop asking or they will ban you from the forums!' Im not sure what specific personality disoder they are displaying, but it's unfortunate.

1 Respuestayou are the first person I will actually support that has gotten banned, you are not asking for an unban that is was unfair and not justified and some other bs,but instead for a double check.

Editado por Azghul Drake: 4/3/2019 10:18:34 PMTo be very honest with you even when it hurts ( which i understand) Bungie don’t care about this I'm also experiencing the same thing that you are, and in my experience ,every thing you get here are links to the eula and policy followed by Troll posts along with posts that say how great bungie is and that they never ever in eternity make mistake And rarely some who really try to help you And bcs its in the policy and eula they can do what they want ( i just say south park apple episode For a comedic example of this ) You will never got Anny official answer here. It's their policy to ignore ban posts on the help forum bcs their policy states that there is no way to appeal the ban or discuss it the employes cant help you even when they want. i would never ask one to risk theyre jobs for this I think some of these bans are unwarranted. But some are truly rightfull And you don’t have to activily cheat to get banned the existence of something that could eventually in rare circumstances maybe could do something with D2 is probably enough to get you banned. For example, an ambient light software that behave and seems like an aimbot might get you banned, as it probably did in my case. If the employee tasked with assessing these flags doesn't research these processes, they might assume that you are cheating and they will ban you. We can not blame them for that, they only do their work and are only human the lack of comunication is what bothers me on this cases bcs if this would be made the right way it could help improving the Anti-Cheat in the future and will prevent from ´´missinterpretations´´ ( excample above) in the future keeping good players in Destiny so it can be there for a while i wish for it I'm telling you all of this to help you understand your situation. I don't want to be mean. If you believe Bungie has mistakenly banned you, tweet at them and ask them to review their process and the recent account bans politely. We need to bring light to the fact that this isn't just a case of a hacker being caught and then airing their displeasure in a public forum.i done this mistake and i trying to corect this so dont be like me be better. PS: sry for the copy and paste posting but i think i cannot formulate this better without beeing mean ( or banned again ;P ) and i even needed help for this one

9 RespuestasThis same problem happened to me too! I've never hacked, flamed, or cheated. The only thing I've ever done is disconnect from quickplay matches, but people do that consistently without getting banned. My account has been banned too, and I don't know why. This happened to me around ~30 minutes ago, and I'm trying to find the answer too. Good to know somebody else has this problem. Good luck!
