Season of the Drifter Weapon Drop Rates
We will be increasing the drop rates of weapons in The Reckoning in Update 2.2.1. We will also be adding most of the weapons to the loot pool of Gambit Prime to increase the ways you can earn Season of the Drifter weapons. Most weapons will have a chance to drop at the end of Gambit Prime matches. Your drop chance will also increase in both Gambit Prime and the Reckoning every match you don’t get a weapon to prevent long droughts without a drop. Eventually, you will be guaranteed a drop. Gnawing Hunger, Just In Case, and Doomsday will remain as exclusive drops in the Reckoning.

How many more blockers must die until I get a shotgun? Im getting a Sentry synth every match and blockbuster/locksmith and havent seen one yet, what are the drop rates on the weapons? I grinded since last night after the patch, 19 prime matches all with sentry synths during the match and not a single shotgun.

Did you guys also increase the drop rates of the normal gambit prime weapons? Over 40 matches in prime and a ton of blockbuster medals and havent seen a single shotgun. Actually the only gambit prime weapon I have is the scout that Drifter gave to me after a weekly powerful bounty .... If it wasnt for the youtube videos I wouldnt be sure the weapons actually exist.

4 RespuestasCan we feel more powerful at 700 level? Because I don't see any changes in power from 350 to 700. I want that number I chase weeks to give me some advantage in raids or nightfall also in the all game. Like assassin Creed where you chase a number but when that number increase you are more powerful. Please can you do that. Because is stupid to chase only a number for nothing.That would be a major change in the game and a good thing.i don't want to be invincible and to melt a nightfall boss in 2 seconds but really I need to feel a little more powerful. Thanks!!

Greatly appreciated. Totally could use a few of the new guns. You should also consider making the armor ratios a bit better. I just want to look cool and be able to get my gambit jersey but i can't because i can't get the notorious set completed too many ways to get repeats.

dude just can it already. we know you guys have abandoned ship for D3. would just be nice to hear you admit it. we are going to get another sh!t pass after season of opulence to fvck, I mean, hold us over till D3. but why hold out for it? you guys still aren't paying any attention and have proven that time after time.

10 RespuestasI've stopped playing, so I no longer care, after months and months of duplicate drops, & the same rinse and repeat bounties, then getting the terrible Bleak farmery and Nonsense labs enough was more than enough. I just wanted proper quests and loot, so Assassins creed Oddesy and Origins gave me that, then came Anthem, that has probs but can only get better, but in summary after 1900 hours on D2 alone, Bungie themselves drove me away, I may come back at some point, but probably not until D3.

1 RespuestaYou seriously don't wabt too listen to your players do you? All of these new random roll weapons will just need infusion to be useful and we all know how that will go in current economy. Most of the people i know rarely play gambit prime or reckoning apart from the bounties and level up. Gambit is pvpve gone wrong and not a fun activity anymore. I'm just hanging out for next season and levelling slowly to make sure i can play it. Otherwisr all these are carrots of stick. Why don't you guys at Bungie just take these carrots and the stick abd stick it up yours....

Well at least there will be a reason for me to play these game modes now. Would love to get a well rolled Spare Rations for PvP. The sidearm is also in an archetype I enjoy.

Who cares unless they drop at 700 because for some reason you won't listen to the people who pay your bills and remove enhancement cores from infusion so I will only be getting weapons that actually lower my light level unless I have enhancement cores to spend

What reason have you given us to believe a word you say?? You guys don’t know what the phrase “increase drop rates” even means. The fact remains that Bungie’s RNG algorithm is still busted. So can you offer percentage values for your supposed increased drop rates? As of now I have yet to receive a single weapon from either Prime or the Reckoning, so your idea of an appropriate increase and mine are entirely different. These new game modes need to become vastly more rewarding for it to be worth anyone’s time.
