What does everyone think, are we going to see 120hz consoles in 2020?
120fps gaming on consoles would be sick! As well as bring me back from pc possibly.
Switched to pc bc destiny 2 felt like a slideshow on Xbox one x, not joking.
4k is nice but it should not have been prioritized over performance. After playing on pc for awhile now I’ve forgotten about most of the main problems and issues with the game bc it plays so damn good on there.
Consoles need a major overhauling and rethinking bc lg 2019 tv’s are 120hz over hdmi and we still have 30fps consoles right now.
Anyone think the next Xbox/PlayStation will target performance and utilize 120hz?

1 RespuestaHow about they focus on making the games "fun" before worrying about how many gigawatts or whatever a console has

2 RespuestasDestiny is a bad example it was intentionally locked at what the PS4 pro can handle

21 RespuestasI‘m one of those console plebs PC gamers look down upon because honestly 90% of the time I can’t tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps. I only really notice it when it dips down to a really low frame rate. If I had the option I think I’d take resolution over frame rate any day. 4K just looks so damn pretty. To hell with performance.

1 RespuestaI'd be okay with just 60FPS. 60 to 120 is a big jump, but 60FPS looks buttery smooth enough to be acceptable to me. I've never minded 30FPS too much, but whenever I play a game in 60FPS, it's a pretty disgusting transition back. Maybe it's the same with 120FPS. I wouldn't know because I don't even own a screen that can support it.
