I have a 600hz monitor and the frame rate is capped at 60fps

Do you have frame rate cap on? Or Vysync on?

if i have my Vsync on (60 FPS) everything if fine for a while. But when i turn Vsync of and just set an FPS cap i get 100FPS but the game gets really choppy/laggy

Yeah that’s weird. I don’t know that happened to me when I had my 60hz monitor V sync and frame cap it was smooth 60fps V sync off frame rate cap on, choppy but smooth V sync off, frame rate cap off (I was hitting like 130fps) it was really choppy and slow
