Comp Pinnacle Weapons should be available to everyone
I think that weapons like lunas, nf, mountaintop, and recluse should be available to earn in quickplay. I think for example for lunas and nf: luna should require 7-10 resets in quickplay to earn and nf should require 11-15 resets. Or they could do a long quest similar to redrix. Yes it may be unfair to those who got these weapons already but you're still putting in time to earn these weapons instead of blowing your brains out in crucible.
What do you think good idea or bad idea?

1 RespuestaCrutch weapons like the ones you mentioned should NOT exist. Once upon a time Bungie nerfed Hopscotch Pilgrim for Gods sake. Changed its entire archetype, the only time ever and VERY FEW people had it....

3 RespuestasI have said this forever! Make it a quest like broadsword it is still extremely grueling and takes a lot of game play! And you always progress for your play time unlike comp win 3 lose 2 back were you started! That is the biggest waste of game time and life and I refuse to do it! And I love people that have these dominant guns and there response is the gun doesn't make you dominant I will still destroy you and so I ask what is the problem with everybody having a broadsword quest to get them oh I no why because the gun makes it easier to get kills and you then will at least be challenged equally so if I loose at least we both have a gun that can 3 tap not just you! And comp is a joke anyway if you have these guns in a 4 stack team of course you are going to win! And to the elites that says weapons don't matter why are you using notforgotens only in comp I rest my case!

6 RespuestasThey ARE available to everyone. The only thing holding you back from a pinnacle crucible gun is commitment. Personal skill helps, but if you REALLY want a Luna or recluse you can get it

1 RespuestaI think Lunas should have been available through Quickplay, but not Not Forgotten. Bungie only did that to throw Comp players a bone who have no desire to max out Glory rank. But hey, heres a long ridiculous quest for a pulse rifle that will be obsolete well before you complete the quest.

11 RespuestasI think they will make a broadsword style quest for Lunas soon. Maybe in September. I think they want to get a full year of content with the LH. LH and NF are available to everyone, however, not everyone can earn it.

That being said, IF Bungie were to make these weapons available in quick play then the quest for each would have be MUCH longer then Redrix’s Broadsword (which was pretty light quest overall). It would have to be something where you [u]can[/u] get the weapon but you would still have to work hard and put a lot of time into get them. The fabled weapons should either be attained through: Option A. 5-10 Valor Rank Resets in a single season OR Option B. 15-20 resets but not locked to a single season. Option A would be quicker but require more work on the user side. You’ll get the weapon if you grind for it. Option B would take much longer but you’ll get the weapons eventually. As for Not forgotten. I personally don’t think this should be available in quickplay. It would be a slap in the face to those that earned it. That being said, if Bungie were to make it available in Quickplay: Option A. 15-20 rank resets in a single season. OR Option B. It should require 50 rank resets but not lock to a single season. (To be honest even this is too easy) There you go. You now have a way to get most Comp weapons through quick play. Now it depends on whether you’re willing to work to get the weapon or not. As for NF, like I said before I don’t think it should be available in Quickplay at all.

I grinded my ass off to get NF, got stomped on by some really impressive comp teams but never gave up and now you want players to be able to just casually grind away in QP to get weapons which are meant to be pinnacle rewards? No way. Improve your gameplay in crucible. A good player doesn't necessarily need a pinnacle weapon to stomp in PvP.

Now here’s the thing they should do Quick play should have quests that shaxx gives out known as prototype quests for the pinnacle weapons that are strictly based around QP. Like how Luna’s quest was for a prototype gun then going to legend to get the final version. The prototype quests would be like broadsword as they would take a long time and require much larger quantities on each step, while the comp quest goes as they normally do this far. The guns themselves would all stand out but the complete weapons found in comp would have the best perks. Example being Luna having drop mag while NF doesn’t. They wouldn’t beat the prototype weapons outright but would be its best direct competitor, and vice versa.

1 RespuestaRemember halo 3? The highest level was 50. To reach lvl 50 you have to play ranked games. You couldn’t earn it just for playing social playlist. That’s the same thing with these weapons. They shouldn’t be a handout imo. You have to get better to climb up. Kids these days want everything handed to them. I don’t like that at all...
