Seriously. We all wanna stop going up against 4 stacks in gambit and 6 stacks in the crucible. In theory its such an easy problem to solve...

It was a thing in destiny 1. The reason they’re probably not gonna bring it back is because barely anyone played it.
-
Editado por ShaxxCousin: 3/15/2019 9:02:10 PMI want a competitive Rumble playlist. I’d be happy with that
-
Because bungie doesn't want you to play that way
-
because it was barely used in D1, and when it was, it made the matchmaking pool smaller and therefore longer load times. Hence why it didn't return in D2.
-
Teams would suffer. A couple guys wanting to have a good time and play together would be thrown to the Luna’s. Because it’s solo queue or die.
-
2 RespuestasIm guessing you werent around when d1 was the only destiny. In destiny, they had a solo que only crucible gamemode after it was requested. The reason why its not here anymore is because barely anyone played it and was a waste of a gamemode
-
Lack of player base right now.
-
2 RespuestasIt splits the player base. Same reason why we can’t select what gamemode we want in quick play or comp. PVP player count is already low (especially on pc) and splitting that amount up even more would make matchmaking times even worse.
-
theirs a reason it isnt in the game. ruined matchmaking in destiny 1 which is why it was removed. they need to fix skill based matchmaking and the ranking system if they want the matchmaking to be better experiment with it a little bit maybe
-
It was in D1. Don’t know why it isn’t here for people that want it although.
-
1 RespuestaSo this is what they did. As a solo player, I would rather have a solo queue though.
Gambit Matchmaking [Revised 2:20 PM 3/14/19] With the release of this very blog article, Gambit received some updates to matchmaking. Gambit is a team based activity and as such, players who are in a pre-made fireteam have a communication advantage. To offset that advantage, we've raised the internal skill rating of pre-made fireteams to pull in higher skill enemies to fight against. With this change, even as a solo player, you'll still have a chance. Plus, your other matched fireteam mates should be higher skilled as well. Solo players of low skill should expect to match other solo players more frequently. Higher skill teams will also match teams more frequently.
Editado por Posh Josh: 3/15/2019 4:08:00 AMThey tried it in d1 and no one used it. People tell bungie to learn from their mistakes and they are, now you complain... The population is now even lower and matchmaking times would sky rocket. Another point is that some people want to play with their friends. When I play in a team with my friends I am not any better than solos because we are not communicating and such. However in a group only playlist I would find many more teams that were ‘sweating’ and it would discourage playing with friends, which is the opposite of what destiny is about.
-
Team based game.
-
Use your brain. Fireteam matching > freelance playlists
-
2 RespuestasIt is simple, not sure what there is that is hard to understand. You take the current population and try to cut it in half and all you will get is longer wait times in queue for everything. So per warmind.io yesterday's pvp population was 441K on platforms. So, while being overly simplistic, that would be 220k for lone wolf and 220k for normal play. Then you have comp/quickplay/rumble/weekly playlists each taking their piece of the pie. Then you account for the fact that the number was world wide over a 24 hour period, how deep do you think the player pool is going to be for the lists at any given time.
-
It already is a thing. Just because it's not in its own separate playlist doesn't mean you're matched against teams intentionally. Whenever you match against a team, it's because no other solos with stable connections to yours were available. If it would be impossible to match against a team, you would have to wait a while.
-
I will never understand why people can't understand what a TEAM is. Don't be stupid, stupid
-
If they add that, then people on here will find another excuse to complain about instead of admitting the problem. It won’t solve anything.

6 RespuestasEditado por Trollefix: 3/14/2019 8:25:12 AMBecause if they do the stacked teams (you know, the people who are very vocal about how this isnt a game for solo players, get friends, use lfg, bla bla) will have to face other stacked teams and actually, for once, have to play the game as it was intended according to them: against other full teams. And we can’t have that can we.
-
Thats why! Its got an easy solution but thats not the bungie way. So enjoy getting your ass blasted by those stacks.
-
3 RespuestasIts called Rumble and for the life of me I don't know why its not in Comp?
-
5 RespuestasYou could always find your own group Dunno why playing with friends is now frowned upon Alternatively theres rumble or bungie could implement a solo que only playlist - they did have that on d1 however the population in it was so bad and took so long to find matches it wasnt worthwhile, I think most people who play dont care who they match or what team size they are they just want to shoot stuff
-
Why not a playlist just for it, finds only solo players with good connection
-
2 RespuestasBecause dividing the player base to appease some vocal whiners hurts the game. For reference I play mostly solo or with 1 friend. Sure I get stomped out by the occasional team with nf but that’s few and far between. Just as with most complaints about guns, this is just looking for something to blame on a loss. Connection should always be top priority, and were already in a bad situation there thanks to Bungie not giving us dedicated servers and the player base not being that big. In d1, I never felt like I improved. Every game was predetermined by connection. I don’t want those dark times back
-
Imagine how long matchmaking times would be
-
They tried it in D1, & nobody used it.
