If you are one of the jack wagons out there saying "derp just don't infuse until you reach max light derp" you are just not getting it.
That isn't a solution or a fun way to play. It is the equivalent of shrugging at a stupid idea and saying "oh well what can ya do?"
Also, just as dumb is the "infusion cores are easy to get"
No, they aren't. Getting cores on a regular basis is multi-step torture:
Do dumb activities on a lonely planet for ghosts.
Get a dumb bounty and sit on a planet doing nothing but watching for an HVT to pop up.
Hope to get a shot at at it.
The bounties should be obtainable with planetary materials or glimmer. And the bounties should be in game activities or events.

Some complaining you are out of core then. If you don’t understand how the power deltas work and wastefully infuse that is in you
-
Do like I do and pick ONE set of gear to use while getting your light up. Saves a lot on cores. Then, when you hit cap, work on infusing the other stuff you use. Pro-tip: Right now the only thing where power matters is doing the Reckoning above Tier 1. Just about everything else you do merely wants you to be +540 (factoring in Nightfall and that you don't raid). Which, if you aren't +640, do you even play the game?

Just Don't Infuse 4Head

1 RespuestaDo not infuse in the forum! There, I said it.

2 Respuestaswell heres a question what happens when you get a weapon or an armor piece..... that has a better roll then you currently have Ill use what little cores i get from scrapper bounties if the piece of armor or the weapon has a higher light and also has a shitty roll, also if you get a weapon that has a shitty roll but you have one that is lower with a god roll then all you need is glimmer tbh. plus you don't even have to wear or infuse your armor, all it has to do is BE IN YOUR INVENTORY and your light cap is technically higher, you don't need to take off your good stuff or have to infuse and "waste" cores, you can just go about your business doing whatever you want, that is unless you want to do higher level activities. So why get mad at bungie when you can simply go about your business playing how you want, getting higher light gear and if you get something like a higher level item then what is in your inventory, like your helmet for example, you can dismantle the older less powerful helmet and keep the more powerful one there so it increases your overall average, its by far the easiest work around for the infusion system. plus you eliminate the "problems" of not being able to play how you want.

15 RespuestasThis game will always have a limiting factor to progression. If cores were removed from infusion you'd just be back on here complaining that infusion requires too many planetary materials.
-
8 RespuestasI support cores and you have the ability to get 50 plus a week if you choose. If you choose not too, thats on you 👍
-
2 RespuestasAs someone who has about 125 cores, you don’t need to constantly infuse. Infuse anywhere between each 5-10 levels maybe and you should be good. Otherwise just sticking with gear isn’t the worst thing ever, anyways. But thats my opinion. You can have your own
-
Stop infusing everything
-
2 RespuestasWe are not saying save cores to be trolls. We are talking to you about how to adapt to a system that is pretty simplistic. Try out other guns. If I kept infusing up my same armor and same three guns, I wouldn’t try out other armor and guns. I don’t like how some of it looks, but being forced to try other things help us explore the perks of the armor and guns, and tells bungie that they didn’t waste their time creating the variety. I found some solid builds and new weapons playing this way. Quit crutching the same stuff, be appreciative and check out what is available.

And now the community turns on each other lol.

Infusing? That’s for rich folks. *eats ramen*

3 RespuestasWell, while OP is whining for the wrong reasons and has a SJW -godwinslaw!- attitude ( " if you support it you are right there with the developers. " aka " if you are not with us you are against us " ) I also feel that the cores bounties ( which is the main source of guaranteed cores ) need some changes. And the best place to start would be to make the spider bounties purchasable with random planetary resources ( rotating it each day ) instead of ghosts ( which, atm, are making the bounties " a boring and time consuming grind within grind " ). The ghost shells should still be usable for the weekly spider bounty, in order to make the tangle shore still worth doing. Also the HVT should have a shorter spawn time or , as other ppl mention it, should be place in lost sectors. But I think a shorter cool-down and small area of spawn would be better since it's nice to see ppl doing stuff in open areas. It makes the game alive instead of a " dungeon instances only " like.

9 RespuestasEditado por FataLVisioN_Oo: 3/12/2019 12:02:11 PMSo stop complaining about infusion. You remind me of people that blow all their money on crap then complain they are always broke.
I didn't go out of my way to get any cores this week and went up +100. Cores are easy to get.
I just take my time and do the glimmer only method. I still can't believe some folks defend ECs for infusion. Whatever. :l

4 Respuestas100% AGREED. What anyone who supports this broken economy fails to understand is: Doing these boring and repetitive scrapper and Spider bounties Spending excess legendary shards Looking like a homeless Guardian and using whatever weapons drop ALL UNNECESSARY with all previous forms of Infusion. They say: "This is how you're supposed to play the game. You're supposed to just use whatever drops until you hit max light and then start infusing." I say: "No, the way you're supposed to play the game is to hit max level first to gain the ability to use all legendary and exotic drops, THEN you're supposed to start hunting for preferred weapon rolls and armor set builds while using the base mechanic of Infusion to keep your preferred loot current while you climb to max light." However, we can no longer play the way we're supposed to play because of this stupid, foolhardy, overly taxing, overly padded, boring, fun sucking, broken Infusion system. Infusion DOES NOT NEED to require four separate currencies with one currency being exceedingly rare. We're not supposed to look like hobos at max level; we're supposed to be putting together badass armor builds that compliment our playstyle. We're not supposed to be stuck with whatever weapons drop, we're supposed to be farming weapon rolls that will synergize with how we choose to play the game. Cores in Infusion took all of that away from us. Why anyone would support playing the first way instead of the second way still freaking blows my mind. Of course, some people will support anything no matter how asinine so I guess it's just human nature.

In my personal experience as a CASUAL I ran a bunch of vanguard bounties and crucible matches and kept dismantling things. Got me from 0-15 Cores. I got more now cause I dismantled some useless masterworked drops and got to Legend last week. You can average 10 cores each session if you just play. Also some tips... 1) ONLY infuse when it is +10 your LL. You will get doooooops and +1-5's, do not infuse. Dismantle them and get a chance at more cores. 2) Find some masterworked items you know you will never use- and dismantle. 3) Clean your vault.
I have not truly touched a spider bounty at all this week- they are incomplete atm. I only buy 2 from him for 30 shards
For those who keep putting down people who have bad RNG with cores- you are toxic and not helping. Give them advice and cheer them on. The COMMUNITY will save the game- not Bungie.

Just do it like me: Infuse every 10 power level. Content won't run away from you and you don't need to be always first. I infused yesterday my gear. Made a jump from 650 to 661. That's 1/5 of the new power. And this was in week 1 of S6. Just collect enough cores and wait til the end of the week. Then infuse the highest armor before reset.
-
14 Respuestasstop using your cores on every peice of gear to upgrade it. its a waste. You don't understand the economy and after hundreds of people are telling you how to do it smarter, you still refuse to listen and put it into practice.. so you run out and complain. You have been given the answer to your issues but, refuse to put it into practice. You deserve to have no cores
-
5 RespuestasInfusion isn't a big a deal as people make it out to be. If you infuse a new piece of armour every time you get it or instantly masterwork a gun, you're going to run out and fast. Wear new armour unless it's completely against your build. Test a gun before you masterwork. Also, I think enhancement cores are right where the devs want them to be. They're not so common you can use them frivolously but theyre not uncommon either. I get quite a few every time I play, enough to use. Buying them isn't that expensive and if you're desperate, those bounties give you plenty. And you've got matterwaves. Players act like they're impossible to get and theyre really not.

2 RespuestasEditado por CozMcKilljoy: 3/12/2019 3:04:07 PMSome people are trying to help people with the problem. While we do agree it is indeed a problem you can do two things. Wine and complain about the problem or you can take steps to correct it, work around it if you will. You can also let Bungie know about it, which you are doing. In the mean time, before change take place, you have to work around it. And saving Infusion materials is the best way to do just that.
-
4 RespuestasSave your cores until max level they say. Running with 2 side arms and edge transit. This system rocks. Seriously I have plenty of cores, and the system is horrible.

please refrain from not stop undoing refusal of functions that require stuff.

It's unnecessary tedium.

Now that you tell me not to do it, I do wanna do it. Nobody tells me what to do.
