Like book of sorrows level stuff.
Good job

Exactly. But apparently everyone thinks there is "no story" in this expansion/content drop. -
REALLY digging the messages from Aunor

1 RespuestaWith school and work I just don’t have time to read another ingame book, I feel like Instead of playing Destiny im reading my kindle. I also stopped playing after black armory (shooting cabal in a cave is not new content not should it be called a expansion or dlc); I check out season of the drifter, again it looks like the minimum effort was put in the development of it( so little content and in rain drops), and the lore is hidden items and triumphs, this wouldn’t be a real problem if not because this information is vital to understand wtf is going on. We visit the tower “50” times it is full of npcs just standing there handing out bountys why not at least make them tell us the stories or info relevant to the story and or expansion

3 RespuestasWhat I've read so far has been amazing. I'm falling behind on my readings for the last month or so but I'll catch up.

63 RespuestasEditado por sixty9tea: 3/10/2019 8:23:38 AMWhat are you talking about. Destiny's lore has always come across to me as a cheesy story written for kids under 10 years old? I've played this game since beta for D1 and I still can't tell you what the hell is going on? Kill Cabal, Hive, Vex and Fallen ... rinse and repeat... Lore what?
-
1 RespuestaChoose Aunor over the Drifter or we are going to fight!
-
38 RespuestasOh you mean that shit that should be in the game through cutscenes and dialogue. Riiiigght.
-
I disagree. The contradictions that roll out every couple weeks are infuriating. A warlock that doesn't even know that ghosts are some of the most fragile things in the series? Are you kidding me?
-
1 RespuestaWith all due respect, maybe Bungie should have a separate website dedicated to the lore. It's apparent from this thread that many people like the lore, but for me it doesn't help or enhance the game one iota.
-
6 RespuestasI wouldn't know. It'd be cool if they got their voice actors to narrate the lore books so we could roam around while listening to the character line up read us the lore.
-
1 RespuestaIs it possible to read it on the app or on the website? Not home right now and I don't have anything to do.
-
1 RespuestaEditado por Helios 2117: 3/15/2019 8:21:05 PMVery good stuff. I'm actually really excited about the split Vanguard/Drifter storyline as well. I feel like Bungie is finally experimenting a bit with their storytelling methods.

1 RespuestaBungie did this dlc right, I’m loving the lore!
-
To be fair, most lore concerning hive or taken is pretty interesting. We learn about their "culture" and their religion. Everything else is just a backstory of what they are. Fallen are scavengers, cabal are warmongers, and vex are just your typical scifi robot species that want to assimulate (sorry) the universe. We got a little bit more lore concerning the cabal with vanilla d2. Other than that not much else has really been explained about the enemy factions of destiny.

Editado por blade329: 3/11/2019 4:09:01 PMThe lore in this game is awesome, which the only reason I've looked at Season of the Drifter. Looked, but not played.

Couldn't agree more. I still can't comprehend some of the things that Cryptarch went through in the book of dust. It's book of sorrows quality I just want to read more!
-
Totally agree. They game is taking a lot of heat on these forums right now, I hope they see that we like where the lore is going and (mostly) how its presented so they can keep it up while they work out things that players have issues with
-
8 RespuestasI dont read it, takes too long to read fictional stuff. It would be better to have cutscenes.
-
I agree, love how this plot is unravelling. Dredgens beware
-
Agreed. I'm so happy Bungo hired a writing department sometime around Forsaken's release.
-
good job on reading it dude, I cant even get past the title screen most nights before I fall asleep.
-
When some cards in a game are more interesting than the game itself......greeeaat.
-
Oh yea booting up a game and reading pages of of text is fun.
-
7 Respuestasif only the game was as good as the Lore
-
11 RespuestasIs there a way to read the lore without collecting it in game? I want to read it but I don't have forsaken
-
Havent read it yet, but will. Did a forge yesterday and got the last 3 lore pages from one forge...
