I was excited when those came out even though they weren't as game-changing as something like Taken King or Forsaken...Skolas with Solar Burn and Wrath of the Machine Challenge Modes were alot of fun good times

1 RespuestaWho ever said HoW and RoI were bad? Neither of them claimed to be Comet DLC’s. TTK and Forsaken were. They both completely changed the way we played. One with Economy and the other with loadouts. Other than Trials the HoWs content was pretty average And RoI was kind of a Celebration Reboot of the the first 3 years of Destiny. Those aren’t on the same level as TTK and Forsaken(Comet DLC’s).

I loved House of Wolves. Prison of Elders was lit af

2 RespuestasI would say the way D1 ended ... was really good. D2 has never even came close to reaching that bar.

11 RespuestasEditado por D2_Dahaka_PAL: 3/7/2019 9:02:59 PMHell, Curse of Osiris is starting to look good now lol

17 RespuestasThose were also full DLC's. This is a small game addition ..not a DLC. Cant compare them.

6 RespuestasEditado por sXeth: 3/7/2019 11:49:36 PMCrota - Definitely a weaker release, and very obviously unfinished content from the original release rather then its own thing. Still a fun raid (if a tad buggy lol), some neat unique loot for it. Planetary invasions. House of Wolves - IDK how this isn't a game changer. Trials, PoE (the originaly Horde mode that we keep getting copies of that are just blandly designed and only feature 1 variation). Literally the point at which Infusion became a thing so you had more then 8 relevant weapons and everyone in the same armour. Planetary invasions upscaled to adding World bosses. Taken King - A gigantic leap forward in storytelling. Though a gigantic pile of grind garbage for the post-story. TTK is a very mixed bag that has a bizarre amount of nostalgia goggling for it. Spend 4 hours picking Spinmetal flowers for your exotic sword quest, eh. The original Mercury "NO SPARROW FOR YOU" map. Infusion was f-ed up to be some rando number between what you infused and what you were infusing. The Raid loot was dull with them all having the same perk (Cocoon, or as its known nowadays, Auto Loading Holster). The Raid loot also dropped randomly within 10 levels, so after a couple of runs it was pretty common to not get any LL increase at all. It was also the only Raid to rigidly enforce a weapon meta, by placing the bosses all at long ranges. Rise of Iron - A little underwhelming in general content. Definitely that Raid was a fresh take, bringing back the teamwork element rather then everyone simply being another tick of DPS in the firing line. RoI is probably a good bar for where the DLCs should be, but it was positioned as an expansion so it fell a little short. Of course if we tack on all the year 3 of Destiny 1, we started getting everything updated and a full smorgasbord of relevant content to work with that is basically the high point of the series.

I just want PoE / CoE back...loved me some high score challenge solo CoE.

12 RespuestasHouse of wolves? Hell no, that brought the ability to roll your weapons for the perfect god roll.
-
TTK was IT.
-
1 RespuestaRise of iron was the best DLC ever the only downside was ppl couldn't log on for shit that's how good that dlc was.
-
1 RespuestaHOW was the titties in my book! The pinnacle of the series. Skolas RIP, you mf'er! PS...bring back all D1 maps in the crucible you lazy cuntz!

Editado por MindfulPizza: 3/8/2019 2:29:03 PMRise of iron was bungie and destiny at it peak they had it set up right , all they had to do just keep it going on destiny 2 , but nope , they went all lol on us players . if have not see that , sorry were seeing it now after this last dlc , like now there some kids that are stuck up a holes incharged of the game . were still do not are guardians back , were nerf worst then when the game launched , and content been nerf worste then everquest year one . we still never got destiny rise of iron back , and what sad is play destiny 1 and gun play 10 times better , on all the guns , even if getting in raid sucks still back then . at least division 2 coming out gun play and community driven game . again back for console like boarderlands was ,

1 RespuestaDon't speak to me of Rise of Iron. Still pissed about Thorn being made a -blam!-ing RNG bounty quest--again.
-
Even coo looks good now
-
Yeah this whole season pass will go down as utter trash to the majority of people who end up remembering Destiny. Its WAY worse than any point in D1.
-
1 RespuestaEven for someone like me that does a lot of patrol is noticing how crap things have become and if it is starting to affect players like myself then things are really bad. In the first game I never had to confront this level of garbage and always have ways of finding good rewards from the vanguards or the faction groups even patrol back in 2015 was better than what we have now
-
3 RespuestasD1 is a way better game when you look back!
-
They were both good to start with. Everyone complains but damn that was all good stuff! Had a ton of fun in PoE!

6 RespuestasEditado por FataLVisioN_Oo: 3/7/2019 3:41:52 PMThe annual pass isn't DLC. It's end game added onto the forsaken DLC. We are still in forsaken just a different season of it. It's kind of like when we had taken king for over a year except that didn't get new content it just was one and done where forsaken appears like it's going to be another taken king that lingers around long past its welcome but atleast new stuff is added over the seasons instead of just nothing.

10 RespuestasYou do realise that even though this is paid content, it’s not a story dlc like CoO or Warmind etc. This is designed to be filler to give us something to do while the actual expansions are being developed. So that we don’t have the horrendous content droughts that D1 had. Why are people not getting this?
-
55 RespuestasDon't forget The Dark Below, I don't care what anyone says, Crota's End was a freaking awesome raid and when you picked up the sword and that epic music began to play.. you really felt like a hero.
-
Man I had so much fun on both of those dlcs, I remember I got my first fatebringer during house of wolves and I saved an ether of light just so I could bring it up to 365. Those were the days haha.
-
Young Wolf’s Howl....I miss it dearly...
-
3 RespuestasSince when were those considered bad expansions? HoW had the best damn economy and ways of progression while Rise of Iron brought forth the big content guns and community involvement.
-
What's funny is that so many more people are going back to D1 because of how badly Bungo dropped the ball and broke their game.
-
1 RespuestaRise of iron was the best period of the destiny franchise hands down. In my opinion of course.
