Now I don't care what your opinion on gambit is, I couldn't care less in all honesty. But what I do care about is feedback and criticism done right... So let me tell you one thing about gambit prime before it comes out
Solo players... Will always be at a disadvantage. Now keep your shirt on, don't blow a fuse just yet. You all need to realize that gambit prime is a more competitive gambit that relies on communication and people fulfilling their assigned rolls.
If you're going into gambit prime... Don't get mad at 4 stacks, it's how the game is meant to be played. I don't give a shit how you feel about that, and do you want to know why?
because I'm not BUNGIE
In a competitive environment, there is no good reason to not have team compositions balanced, not one. Overwatch has been wildly more successful than Destiny 2 over the long term in part because they more aggressively try to ensure the game is fair. In Overwatch, if one side has a three stack, there is a good chance the other side will too, that just makes perfect sense. I personally have queued into 7 consecutive games one evening and had to fight 3 or 4 stacks each time, and it freaking sucked even when we won, its not fun having the odds so lopsided before the game has even begun. Saying that because well this is how it currently is so it should not be made better is the most braindead, simpleton contention you could possibly make.

4 RespuestasEditado por ││█║▌│: 3/5/2019 1:46:27 PMI'm a solo/duo player in Destiny, and I've never understood why people get mad at facing stacked teams. I face stacked teams in every single FPS that I play, and I also fully expect to play against stacked teams at some point while playing PvP in any FPS game. Stacks will always have an advantage, but that is to be expected. Sometimes I win, sometimes I get destroyed, that's just how it is and I wouldn't have it any other way. I know Gambit isn't primarily PvP, but it doesn't change my outlook.

2 RespuestasEditado por AbsolutZeroGI: 3/5/2019 8:37:51 AMIf Bungie didn't want people playing solo, they'd close it off to fireteams that are too small. You can't get to a planet with 5 people, can join rumble with more than one, so they clearly know how to gate based on fireteams size. There exists no universe where a solo player against a full stack is fun, fair, enjoyable, pleasant, or anything. You're basically punishing people because they don't have an endless supply of dude bros and they don't want to LFG a bunch of squeakers who need carries or otherwise don't want to actually play the game right. I have quit every solo vs stack game I've ever been forced into for the last few weeks and will continue to do so. I didn't pay $100 to be lectured about how I should enjoy being at a disadvantage because my friends all work morning jobs and go to bed at 11pm.

Prime sucks anyway

Solo today with no real issues

*reads title* *inhales deeply* Whadya mean, YOU people?!

6 RespuestasFull-stacks should never go up against solos, that's all there is to it.

3 RespuestasEditado por Grimnir2001: 3/5/2019 7:27:46 AMIndeed, and thats why Destiny is doing so well, screw the solo's, and casuall players. Just cater towards the hardcore and streaming fools. The clan i am just stopped playing all together ,my other friends didnt even bother buying Forsaken. These were all hardcore vanilla Destiny players, keep this up and D3 will be a lot of fun playing by yourself, or with the streamers that are still around.

Just siloed it and won. I might start carrying people to help them get triumphs.

2 RespuestasAlso, if Gambit prime is sweaty four stack, maybe means less of them in normal Gambit? That sounds good to me.
-
That sounds SO MUCH FUN. I'm SO GLAD they made a whole season of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 RespuestaEditado por Tk: 3/5/2019 5:35:48 PMI dont hate 4 stacks. I just think if its a team based mode then why are you allowed to go in solo? If you play solo, youll see theres clearly enough stacks to go around but many stacks queue dodge to face solos only. This is why matchmaking should at least prioritize stacks v stacks. Its what all other games with team based comp modes do, so why not bungie? Destiny is the only game I know of that has team comp and places solos vs stacks. Why is it just this game that has extremely unbalanced matchmaking? So much that solos vs stacks is more common than stacks vs stacks. Random solos are put against organised teams in a competitive mode?... Thats not even competitive. In any case, this games poor matchmaking system has driven away players and made many players hate/avoid pvp with a passion and will continue to do so as long as nothing changes.

1 RespuestaThey don’t care either, you’re both happy with bad game design.

It’s going to be trash, who cares

4 RespuestasEditado por DredLaP: 3/5/2019 4:27:29 AMWont touch gambit. Gambit is 100% garbage. Will be playing, but not gambit. None of my friends plan on playing til june.

1 RespuestaNormal gambit will be made easier and a more fun mode with the better players in gambit prime
-
I play with a four stack, I'll play a bunch of solos or another 4 stack, don't care. WHY do solo players, feel like they are always getting the shaft, when getting put up against a 4 stack. They say they should have their own playlist for everything. What if your 2 stack or 3 stack, should they get their own playlist. You want to play solo, deal with what the outcome is. The game is made for 1-6 , players depending on the game type, you choose how how to play it.

5 RespuestasIt's just Bungies response to people wanting less PvP PvE interaction. Double down! Now, first off, I don't like PvP, and don't play it. If you like PvP, play the heck out of it with my approval. (Spider, "I approve!") I got no problem with that. Sure, I miss out on a bit of gear, but what the heck. The planet still rolls around the Sun every 364.4567 days, or what ever it is. I notice a lot of complaints, "Why do I have to play Crucible to get something or other." Followed by, "Why do I have to play PvE? I just want to play Crucible." How-freakin-ever, I watched a bit of YouTube last night, explaining the wonders and excitement of Gambit Prime. (I think) So, Bungie knows - or should know - that there are PvP players who don't particularly want to play PvE at all. Bungie's solution? Players must play PvE to get this flash armor so they can play Gambit Prime with it! Then freshly sore from getting their asses handed to them with timed Nightfalls, what happens? Timed Gambit Prime! I swear if these blokes burnt their hand in a fire, they'd try again, "Maybe the fire won't be hot this time!" This really incites some bewilderment and head shaking. So much effort by so many players to separate PvE and PvP, and Bungie creates even more interference between the two. There are supporters of both modes. This is easily ascertained by Forum Comments. I may be wrong here, but I don't notice too much enthusiasm and excitement with Gambit. It's more of "something you gotta do." Well, looks like there is more of "something you gotta do." I don't understand this. If there are PvE players, and there are PvP players, and each wants to do their play one or both, why the hell force the issue? Why deliberately create dissatisfied customers? Correct me if necessary on the Gambit Prime rules and regulations re armor and timing. I only watched one vid.

1 RespuestaSo, it’s like gambit with raid team level cooperation. Looks like it’s going to be Season of the Strike Playlist. Or Season of Resident Evil 2 Remake.
-
how dare you tell people to not get made at people playing the game in an entirely legitimate and fair way. I'M TRIGGERED!
-
“You people” YOU PEOPLE! I feel so offended right now
-
4 RespuestasThey love catering for stacks even though they have such a large percentage of solo players. The problem is, not enough people actually play the game in general to separate solos and stacks into separate queues.
-
14 RespuestasTrash game mode by a trash game developer ......... & by the way I’ve have not played this garbage ever because I’m not stupid enough to get fooled by bungie bull shit
-
5 RespuestasIf by any slim chance I do venture into any gambit mode due to a quest demanding it, I have to apologise to the team I'm in. I have no desire to play anything gambit, I hate the game mode. I will be walking around getting killed often and doing absolutely nothing to aid the team or win. I'm their purely for the completion of the match and its rewards. If I have to win then I will wait for friends and team up Gambit sucks
-
5 Respuestas“Solo” players are at no disadvantage anywhere in this game. I’ve played every activity with randoms and with friends and there has never been a difference in win ratio. I don’t know why you kids act like you are a separate group of people with your own special needs but that’s all in your head. The sooner you admit you’re the problem instead of blaming your teammates like a lot of streamers do, the sooner you’ll practice and get better.

2 RespuestasIt's just like any other Gambit match where you have a a group of uncoordinated randos running around, you literally just shoot enough adds, and bank enough motes to make it feel like you didnt simply lay down and die (like 2 of your teammates did), and you dont let the invader kill you because you know, pride.
