No, they’re just moving the bulk of the cluster bomb damage to the actual rocket projectile. That’s all.

Now, they just need to bring back grenades and horseshoes back. Didn't care for Cluster Bombs in D1, but in D2, it felt like it needed to be on every rocket launcher.

So they will just be the garbage d1 clusters again. Whatever, never liked having to have that perk on my rocket to feel useful. It's technically a blanket buff to rockets much like the changes to shotguns are. A 60% damage bonus vs being stuck with boring ass clusters to do the same damage is no longer necessary. Much like how you won't need full auto to make better use of a shotgun anymore. It's probably the most understandable rework for these types of weapons in the long run and will hopefully spark new rolls for rockets that aren't just clusterbomb tracking. Then again, it probably won't even with the nerf because it's still extra damage :/.

lmao, i was playing gambit yesterday and the invader was a scrub with 89 shots of ikelos, DAMM PVERS, im so glad they will nerf that sh it. if you see a guy in the crucible with an ikelos..... you know damm well its a pve guy, spamming that sh it to get a kill.

Whooping ass in crucible with my LH and gets called out for “sweating” by players who play PvE 90% of the time because they want to get some quest done for a gun that they won’t use. Damn, must be them PvE players.

Maybe if a secondary explosion was more directional, and something you could actually sort of strategize with then I'd be more intrigued. The game being focused on damage is what makes it boring to play.

Bungie doing what they do best, nerfing. Outside the raid, there is little reason to use rockets. Even more so after the nerf.
