Spectral spam is getting irritating.
Buff back other supers or do something to this atrocious super .
You gutted nova warp but in its place left this and conveniently the forums have been resoundingly more quiet because we all know majority of these forums are hunter mains.
I thought the mindset was you should get punished for blind swiping , every spectral I see starts with brainless swiping until the stupidly good tracking gets me , even 50 feet in the air . If you do this you should run out fast and get 1-2 kills , not ability to run around for 6-7 seconds after swiping the air .

When ever I panic swing because I’m surrounded by the other team I hardly get kills . In fact I get team shot and pretty much instantly die when I panic swing. I use all three characters and all supers are good to use if you use them the right way. Just team shit a spectral blade they die petty quick .

Im actually supporting thus despite the fact im a hunter main, i almost never use spectral blades and yet i see the same problem. Everytime ive been in quickplay/comp or even gambit i see blind-swiping and it gets a little rediculous that hunters can cover more distance than jumping or sprinting while making kills with spectral blades.

Have you heard of Dust Rock Blues? I have no gripe against any other player. My problem is with Bungie and their stupid, child-like weapons balancing. Spoiler: it's done by a child. That child apparently likes shotguns that can reach as far as a fusion rifle and hand cannons that are as effective as scout rifles at range.

14 RespuestasHave you played against the new striker? It's the same thing. Great damage resistance, movement mode that makes it hard to hit, and kills effectively. Might not last quite as long but still very strong. How about the new Nova bombs that tracks you like an old D1 truth rocket? Pretty strong. Spectral was nerfed. Leave it.

7 RespuestasI’m a hunter main and I HATE the mindless spectral blade swipe attack and how long it lasts. If I recall the patch notes correctly, the super was supposed to be slightly shortened, with duration increasing while invisible. The idea being that you would be able to get across great distances and plan your stealth attacks. What we got instead was a super with ZERO penalty for spamming a light slash attack. The super can really tank damage, but is not completely immune. However, you have to really dose out the damage in a short amount of time. With most maps being small and having tight spaces and corridors, it really benefits the spamming slash of the Spectral Blade. Since Blade Barrage’s damage nerf to impact, it will no longer shut down Spectral as the spamming slasher moves right through the attack and out of the follow up explosions. I hate nerfing things. But a small tweak needs to happen with this super. Make the light attack take just a slight bit more super energy and it should resolve the issue. Then mindless spamming will just kill the super, changing it to be the intentional attack it was supposed to be.

As a hunter main, it is iritating when the swipe spamming can be heard from across the map because they think its faster.

5 RespuestasIts got really good tracking. Really good damage resistance. Very quick movement. And no penalty for spamming attacks unlike EVERY super in the game. All they need is just an increase in energy lost per swipe

The only thing that really bothers me about it is that if I floof 30 feet above them, they're still able to melee me. If it was made more counterable, it would be a really balanced super.

17 RespuestasMain hunter here and Spectral Blades with Gwisin Vest is still OP and braindead easy to use. It deserves another nerf IMO. It still lasts way too long and has way too much resilience.

Crazy that they nerfed nova Warp into the ground n barely nerfed spectral blades. I could write a list of 1000’s of weird changes Bungie made. Number 1 is the .04 % auto rifle buff way back in the day. Imagine the list of things that Bungie should change too. They don’t really listen to community. If they do, they change tho ha in s totally different way u would never think of, and usually the chance is underwhelming or overwhelming.

I'd rather than spam towards me. That way I can see them and make adjustments. Half the time I can primary them and shoot them twice with a shotgun before they get me. If not just stay in the air as much as possible. The only time they irritate me is when I die out of no where because they were invisible... literally lost me a comp match because of that.

I will say that the lunge range for spectral blades and arc staff needs to be toned way down. Remember Blade Dancer and how a swipe with blades would need to make contact to get the kill? (not counting the perk that unleashed energy that ran along the ground). Yeah it needs to be like that instead of being disintegrated from 10 feet away. And the midair tracking is too generous.

Seriously tho, I switched to it in doubles and dear god is it overtuned. (All supers are too strong they need no buffs period) I can literally outplay every super and have outplayed every super. It’s such a strong super but hey the standard for supers is no skill just walk at your target and they can’t do much unless they have a super. Supers don’t need to be so strong. They are basically invincible unless you hit some good skill shots and even those are almost useless at times. You hit a snipe on a super well they’re still flying towards you so you probably aren’t hitting another. Supers like sentinel I just don’t get. Why does a super need to block damage and with an exotic gets their super back from blocked damage, have a zero skill ranged attack that barely misses and be something you can’t duel in close range, whoever designed it is a fool and it’s just disappointing people defend this mess

8 RespuestasI m not going to say, you're wrong, but I do not agree. Imo, titans have the best supers and are the most fun to play. From double gernades, to ohk melees, to power enabling exotics, to outright speed (for a supposedly tank class). Titans have the best power fantasy! Flaming hammers, retrievable hammers, crazy gernades, and a barricade? Leave hunters alone and look to your own glass house. In close, we should all pray for warlocks... What's been done to nova bombs is ugly. Nova warp was annoying but this level of castration? Arc warlocks aren't fun or engaging. Void locks got devour. Best get out your skyhigh flaming swordlocks.

Very fun .[/quote] You know nothings going to get down because “oh on of ou can easily snipe it and it’s an easy counter” while the devs need to -blam!-ing realise that pc an console are seperate expirences and can’t use pc stats to justify changes on console and both games should have different nerfs on pc and console
