I’ve linked a petition I’ve made to draw some attention to this matter again. Please take a look and sign. The more support we get on this the better. I’ve heard the “not worth it, not going to happen” before so save it if that’s all that you have to contribute here. Things don’t change if you have a mindset such as that. All positivity here and energy geared towards getting a highly requested system added to the game. Now that Bungie is on its own agenda and not the agenda of Activision, this could be something they could add to a roadmap down the line. More than anything an update on the feature being added or not being added would be awesome! And for those who jump straight it’s not going to happen, cross SAVES and cross PLAY aren’t the same thing, so please keep that in mind before you say anything. I can’t begin to tell you how many people do not understand the difference between the two.Thanks guardians!

I moved from ps4 to PC about 6 months ago (return to ps4 for exclusives of course) Would be nice to have my weapons armor and resources from ps4 days. After getting a few catalyst drops, in quick succession, I've lost my motivation to grind what I've already grinded for

The thing is it actually isn't worth them doing it at this late stage, they should have implemented this from the outset but what with the environment around the console platforms and their walled environments it probably would not have been easy hence the not bothering. That said Blizzard did it with Diablo 3 although that was a one time only thing and only from old gen consoles to current gen consoles but it did allow you to take a 360 save and import it on your PS4. I would use such a feature, and would also like cross-play as well, so signed.

Signed! If we had cross saves i could take all my stuff to the vastly superior and far better looking PC version and still play on ps4 with my friends. It would certainly add a little more life to a nearly dead game.

Personally, this isn't something I even remotely care about. I'm barely playing this game on PS4 these days let alone planning to play it on anything else. Good luck with your petition though. Just wanted to give you a perspective on why many people may not respond to this.

10 RespuestasI think Sony might be getting in the way with this one. Remember Destiny has always had ps4 exclusive stuff cause of a Sony deal. Also bungie hates Microsoft with a passion. I know xbox would agree to this right off the bat no questions asked but between sony and bungie I dont see them letting microsoft get any possible chance to get some sort of extra money I'm honestly surprised they allowed the game for windows.

6 RespuestasWhile I would like to see this, I don't think it's going to happen unless a country writes legislation mandating it. Cross save doesn't just share progress, it shares unlocks of paid content like ornaments, ships, so on. This causes the company to lose money... Because they're not forcing you to buy content on multiple platforms. Warframe for instance is a free to play game but they will not allow cross saves because they will lose money from you buying a weapon or frame or potato on one system and having it mirrored onto others. Even if sony allowed me to upload my psn save to pc, warframe's developer would not allow it, because it makes them too much money off the current system. The only way that's going to happen is if a country passes a law basically asserting that when you purchase software of any kind you're buying the ip, not a license to use the ip which is how it works in the states. So when you buy a program on a cd, you only ever own the piece of plastic, you do not own whats on it, which is why microsoft can make you buy 5 different versions of office, one for each of your family's pcs. Because you don't own the software.... Unless a country invalidates that, and says that a game has to be banned in their country if it doesn't cross save, and that country is a big enough share of the gaming market that it will be a financial crisis to lose it, you're not going to see many games cross saving.

This can’t happen bc Bungie is a business in perdition. Their future is very blurry. The playercount is already terrible despite being largely inflated. So what would happen if there was cross saved? The actual playercount could be divided by 3, may be more. So from a terrible 600k on Sundays it could literally go to less than 100k during weekdays. Or may be that’s what’s needed for Bungie to finally give this baby to real professionals?

1 RespuestaNot signing a petition. They're pointless. I was reading just yesterday, though, that MS is pushing for more cross-platform play with new dev kits for the Switch and other platforms so that games played on those platforms can log into an XBL account. If it catches on, this should help!
