There are some very amazing sceneries in this game which I have tried to capture in screenshots to use as PS4 or phone backgrounds, yet time and again the UI and character weapons would ruin the otherwise beautiful shots.
Could we please get a photo mode option, especially a button (combination) bound one that enables us to hide the UI and character as needed?
If you feel like giving us a real treat, maybe also add the option to hide all npcs and/or other players characters with another option to only display one's own and/or all of the fireteam.
As a reference, one of my favourite games besides Destiny 1 & 2 is Dragons Dogma which has a very detailed photo mode with lots of options for filters and camera angle/distance and that despite being several years old.
If anyone else would like that to be implemented, please like or drop a comment!
Thanks a lot!

3 RespuestasJust turn off your HUD in the settings tab, swap weapons, and take the shot as you’re swapping. Works like a charm

1 RespuestaIt would be nice to have a photo mode tbh. Some breath taking stuff in destiny. Only thing I can add to what others have said is try experimenting with various weapons that have small profiles and just wait a little bit with moving or anything and you character will lower their weapon. Yeah this is only good in non combat areas and has some significant setup time but I have gotten some very nice screenshots this way.

You can take amazing screenshots but you need to know how to. You can hide UI, but the problem is the weapon on one's screen. If you switch weapons, there's a small time window where the screen is unobstructed. On Xbox at least, you switch weapons, and quickly screenshot. Only works for screenshots, unless you want to take video, then you can make a character and infuse weapons higher than it has, and you'll have no weapons in your hand. But I agree nonetheless, it's a haste using bootleg methods.

4 RespuestasI think you can hide the UI in the accessibility options in game, I’m not sure about the character and stuff though.
