Oh god I can’t wait for you guys to leave to Anthem. This pathetic whiny toxicity is annoying...

The truth can hurt.
-
Yep. And I’ll prove it to you. The anthem demo showed us it was trash and the game will also be trash.
-
How does that prove it.
-
Except the D2 has been proving it’s trash for over a year.
-
Yet here everyone still is... 90% of the people complaining sitting on 650 guardians with Black Armory gear...
-
And they still aren’t happy with the game. They are dedicated players and Bungie can’t figure out how it make them happy. 90% of the people who have played this game stopped playing it.
-
If they weren’t happy they should’ve stopped buying... Logging in daily, staying current with DLC, and crying on the forums is idiotic. It’s basic common sense. Want to be heard? Show you’re serious... stop buying... Bungie has absolutely no reason to listen to whiny little kids that cry hear constantly but still play and log in everyday. Money talks...

Seems like the posters here are really getting on your nerves. You're fighting against the tide. Do yourself a favor and just play the game if you love it so much.
-
Yeah except it’s normal adults expressing disappointment, giving negative feedback, and being critical of a game they care about. You can act like you’re above it all, but in reality they’re isn’t any crying or babies. There are customers taking to the people who make the product desperately trying to see changes that they consider positive. Usually changes that improve the game for everyone and not themselves.

This guy gets it 😀👍.

But what needs done with Destiny now? I’m just lost by what the games MAJOR problem is? -There is no more team shooting in crucible (fixed) -Supers are balanced (fixed) -Forsaken added PHENOMENAL end-game content with a difficult raid (fixed) -Most weapon types got reworked and balanced to make more weapons more viable (fixed) -Random rolls were brought back (fixed) -Paywall was mostly done away with (fixed) -Bringing back popular exotics that people have been BEGGING for (fixed, even though now they bitch they are recycling content lol) I could go on forever. I’m truly not trying to be difficult, but at some point people have to realize that it’s not the game they are mad at. They are just mad at the publishers now and holding HUGE grudges. Because there might be some minor things wrong with the game, but there isn’t anything so wrong that people are still throwing fits about.
-
Yet the player numbers keep dropping. I don’t wonder why that is, but if you do maybe think about that.
-
I mean it’s dropped the normal number that it’s been doing since Destiny 1. The numbers peak at the release of new content to anywhere from 2.5 million to 3.8 million daily users. Then after a month it drops to about 1.3 million daily users on average. Before forsaken the game was down to about 400K daily users so I think they are doing fine. Like I said in my previous post. People now are just holding grudges because Destiny has fixed so many of the major problems. If you don’t like it and it’s not fun for you that’s fine. You have the right to like and dislike anything games are doing, but the game is in a pretty good state right now. Season of the Drifter is about to come out so we get the thorn back! Which means they will do weapon reworks again which are always awesome! Oh, and obviously more legendary weapons and armor added to the loot pool.

It dropped during Curse of Osiris and came back after Warmind but not to two million or more. Even at the height of Forsaken it wasn’t over two million and since the Black armory it hasn’t been over a million. A new exotic quest launched that forced people to play PvP (plus a huge balance patch) and it brought back 100k players. It just keeps dropping and dropping. It’s going to get worse over then next month when a competitor is released and all Bungie has on deck is crimson days, and then season of the drifter. Keep an eye on the numbers. You’ll see. Bungie hasn’t addressed the community problems with the game over and over and over since it released. They decided to cater to content creators and the most stringent of hardcore players and that’s why even though almost 14 million people have played the game less than a million still play. That’s the reality for this plucky little indie dev and now they don’t have Activision for fans to scapegoat.

Can I see the numbers you found for CoO?
-
Also, since Activision left they have done away with time gated quests, and balanced all the supers and it’s been under a month since Activision has been booted off. If you hate the game then go away. All you do is post negative stuff with ZERO proof to back up your statements. Even if it brought back 100K players because quest, that means that 590K were already playing which is 300K more then the number you swear it is. Guess what. Bungie caters to the players that actually support what they are doing. Not the players that constantly wine and complain about what they are doing even though they are constantly doing patches to fix problems. Also, obviously you don’t follow Bungie reddit account because they CONSTANTLY address the community in it, and in there TWAB they do every single week. Don’t jump on forums and post none sense when you don’t have any references to support your statements. Honestly with how negative you are you should be playing Overwatch. You would fit PERFECTLY in with their community.

The proof is posted on DTR everyday. I’ve made posts that just list the numbers they post on the forums. A big one after Black armory launched, and flopped. Another after the last update when it launched, and flopped. Everything you’re talking about with Activision was already in place before the split. Just because the The draw wasn’t time gaited (oh wait, yes it was it just wasn’t gaited over multiple weeks like thunderlord) doesn’t mean they are done time gating content. All of Season of the Forge was, let’s see how Season of the drifter goes. The TWAB almost never really addresses community complaints. It makes an excuse, then hypes up future content, shows some videos and then logs the massive list of bugs in the game. I don’t care how active they are on Reddit because Reddit isn’t their official communication platform. The forums are the TWAB are the official communication platforms for Destiny. I don’t have to post proof, either you follow the player count or you don’t. I do so I know what the numbers are. It’s public knowledge anyone can look up. Don’t worry, I’ll have a post with all the numbers from every day from the draw patch until a week or two after season of the drifter launches. Just like I did when season of the forge launched. By the way the launch of Season of the forge (2 forges and a raid) saw the numbers go up by a couple hundred thousand, and then drop by 500k over 4 days. Still not reaching a million. Overwatch is a funny example because they are hemorrhaging players too, but likely still have 5 million daily.
-
You aren’t posting any factual information. You are posting stuff that you want to be true.
-
Yesterday: 707k -PvP 889 - PVE 13.9 million total players. That number hasn’t changed much since the last time they made the game free.
-
You’ve still posted nothing that supports any of your statements.
-
I can tell you aren’t going to be able to think it through so even with the proof you need to see it’s not 2.5-3 million daily you will still think it is. That’s fine.
-
13.9 million players is accounts that were made. That has ZERO to do with who plays the game. WoW has over 100 million created accounts, and they have roughly 2 million players that still play. ESO 15 million accounts created and 1.9 million players that still play. Accounts created has nothing to do with daily population.
-
It’s how you know the health of a game that is supposed to have players playing daily. So yes just like D2 those games are objectively dead, dying, on deaths door, underperforming, or however you want to phrase it. The point is over 90% of players who have played D2 don’t like it enough to keep playing it daily, and that is how it’s designed to be played.

Ummm when forsaken launched they hit 3.8 million. Do you not read any gaming magazine??
