I’ve been around the block with Gambit. Ground out three resets without any kind of double or triple infamy. Hunted the Malfeasance Primeval for 26 hours in full Curse week before they ever buffed the spawn rate and never complained about it. Got my Ace of Spades by killing five (5) Invaders with a Hand Cannon before they made that step easy.
Here I am now, a Dredgen with all the weapons, cosmetics, and Infamy I’ll ever need from Gambit. I have 101/102 Gambit triumphs completed (Bungie, do something about Fast Fill. Seriously.) I’ve had it up to my neck in Gambit and oh look! An ENTIRE DLC. About GAMBIT.
No Raid. There is NO. RAID. IN SEASON OF THE DRIFTER.
Bungie.
This had better be some good ass Gambit.

1 RespuestaEditado por ShaxxCousin: 1/29/2019 9:46:26 AMFeel the same way. Also Dredgen and hate playing Gambit now. So burnt out. There’s gotta be a new mode though or something. It can’t be a new DLC revolving around an old mode. I hope not.

8 RespuestasBarely anyone in the community does raids lol

1 RespuestaIf it really is just about gambit and theres no nee satisfying endgame pve content they are going to lose players for good like never before. I'm already teetering....this would basically seal the deal. I couldn't care less about TLW or Thorn as I imagine most pve players dont.
-
7 RespuestasI feel ya man. I can barely bring myself to do the three weekly matches, especially as a mostly solo player. I’m actually concerned because Cosmo made that post recently asking for Gambit feedback :( my worry is there is a conversation going, “hey, no one is playing Gambit anymore...we are about to have an entire season dedicated to it soooooo”
-
18 RespuestasI'll be playing Anthem or Division because there's no new raid and I loathe Gambit; although judging by the Anthem vip demo fiasco I might end up cancelling my pre-order.
-
I’m in it for the lore and the return of Thorn.
-
5 RespuestasFeels to much like the direction Budgie are going is to focus on PvP to hide the l lack of new pve content. The latest twab highlights how fantastic the super changes will be for pvp and stops us from hoarding powerful bounties ( an advantage for competitive pvp and gambit). Nothing left to do this season now, and doubt the next will change that much.

1 RespuestaEditado por Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 1/26/2019 12:20:55 PMNeither am I. I have a feeling it will focus heavily on Gambit and I don’t really like it all that much to begin with. It’s a very inconsistent experience and there is no actual gambit in the gameplay. I honestly regret having bought the annual pass. I feel like I can already tell that I should have waited until most, if not all of the content was released and then picked it up on sale. Can’t say I like this new process for releasing content. I would have preferred a story DLC like they did in the past.

7 RespuestasEditado por AubsTheBelieber: 1/26/2019 2:29:59 AMWow. You people are so ungrateful. They will add something pointless to Gambit, no new land, no story, and add you making 4 extra trips to the Tower or Orbit a day for no reason. And you won’t even be grateful enough to thank them for charging you money for it?!? Unreal.

1 RespuestaI’ll be playing Anthem.
-
2 RespuestasJokers wild will fail harder then curse of osiris

Absolutely zero interest in Gambit. Zero interest in Drifter lore or what ever the hell they try use as an incentive to play. I am so ready for Anthem now.. Just can't be bothered with grinding the SAME garbage content for power levels again. Can't be bothered with infusion and being restricted on how I choose to play. Nah.. I have bettee things to do, more rewarding options on the horizon.
-
The weekly Joker quests will be cool. Will have some new lore each week I'm pretty excited for that.
-
1 RespuestaI'm more excited about other games coming out. Resident evil this week, next one kingdom hearts. Anthem next month, and the division on March. This game has run it's current for me, and I'm burned on it.
-
6 RespuestasI stopped playing Gambit for two reasons: 1. Matches should only be one round, not two-three. 2. I have all the rewards except Malfeasance (but then again I really don't plan on ever using if I were to get it).
-
1 RespuestaVery stale at this point I wish Bungo would go deeper than wider
-
5 RespuestasI 100% will gladly put this game down if this revolves around gambit. Gambit is -blam!-ing boring as all hell, and I can’t listen to the drifter talk anymore. I’ll gladly play something else.
-
2 RespuestasOf the three announced DLCs, this is the one I was least looking forward to, and since I haven't touched the game in almost two weeks and I was looking forward to Black Armory before it launched, I got a bad feeling about how much I'll play.
-
6 RespuestasWow, I couldn't get into Gambit myself. Just went for breakneck and BOOM was outta that gamemode. Can't stand the constant invaders with the thunderlords and hammerheads and queenbreakers. Can't stand teams I'm against that kill the primeval in 5 seconds. I can't enjoy gambit. I ain't hyped for the next season...
-
4 RespuestasJebus. That's a lot of Gambit. Breakneck burned me out on Gambit. It's fun as a team, but when my buddies aren't on I just can't stand it anymore.
-
Three months of content potentially primarily centred around gambit is a no from me chief.
-
2 RespuestasIf they can create a decent enough replayable activity during Joker's Wild, I would be able to forgive the lack of a raid. But something tells me Gambit 2.0 will be just as bad as regular Gambit, so I'm worried we're about to have another Curse of Osiris on our hands instead.
-
Hard to disagree with you. I'm at a point now where I only play on reset day, and just for a few hours. Too many other games to play - RE2 Remake is fantastic - and more on the way in February; Anthem might show some promise, Metro Exodus looks fantastic, in March we'll DMC5 and the Sinking City... And D2 won't see a mojor overhaul or proper content drop for at least a year, or even as far off as D3. I like D2, I really enjoyed my time in it, but it's a stagnating mess right now and the easiest way to still enjoy it is to play it less frequently. For me, anyway.

4 RespuestasI haven't played for around a month I think. Black Armory is just too shallow. Anything involving Gambit is dead to me as well. I'm tired of "seasons " altogether. I'm sick of not having anything I do be relevant for more than a couple of months. Sheer monotony. And I see by looking at Destinytracker that the playerbase is down 400k since I last looked, so I'm not the only one. Meanwhile, twab is more of the same empty rhetoric. Gambit was fun for a few games. I couldn't even bother to finish the auto rifle grind this season. I just don't care enough to log in and I don't see that changing any time this year. I'm building a truck and renovating a house instead. Work is actually more fun than Destiny since Black Armory started. The new direction of this franchise is a non-starter for me. At least Forsaken was fun... the last gasp of a dying franchise.

1 RespuestaI agree 100%! I solo qued my way to Dredgen last season (ludomaniacal) and I cant even bring myself to complete the Breakneck bounty for this season. I have ALL of the challenges completed for the bounty except the matches completed, im at 25/40 and I dont even want to play those last 15......
-
It will be botched and underwhelming, working as intended.
