Pay to win what though? In a PvE game what would exactly be the winning part? Bragging rights? If there's no competitive side to it I don't see a problem with "pay to win".

Pay to win is a term generally used for competitive multiplayer, it means gaining an advantage. You have no advantage in Warframe. If the objective of the game is to become powerful, then everybody is winning at all times. As far as I know there is no best weapon or frame, so all spending money does is decrease the grind. I don't think you understand the term "pay to win"

There are probably thousands if not tens of thousands of people who have unlocked and maxed out everything. Please tell me the advantage you get by paying for everything? To get stronger faster... For what? Spending money to advance quicker in a PvE game is strictly personal. You are gaining nothing but a little less grind. The entire point of the game is to grind gear. You're mistaken. First off, the game is 100% free to play. Secondly, you can experience the entire game including every piece of gear by just playing the game. There isn't anything you can spend money on that will put you at an advantage over other players. Microtransactions do not equal pay to win. So is any game with dlc/expansions pay to win? Or single player games with microtransactions?

Because it isn't pay to win. If you found progression difficult without paying for platinum, then I'm sorry but you're bad at the game. And if everyone is winning, how can it be play to win? The microtransactions are there so lazy people can circumvent the grind. It doesn't make them win because the grind to get what they're paying for isn't even difficult. It's also part of the game. In fact, the entirety of warframe is grinding for the sake of more grinding. So by paying to not grind, people that buy microtransactions are essentially paying for less content. So the game isn't pay to win, it's pay to not play. But people who buy platinum are usually just dumb cuz they're spending money on a free game. Also you don't have any credibility on the matter because you barely even played. I probably got to the same point you were at when you stopped in an hour

So now you're changing your argument to warframe being "pay to support the devs"? You're really funny. There are other ways to support the devs besides buying platinum. And the reason why the entire warframe community is going to tell you the exact same thing is because it's closer to being correct than calling a basically PvE only game pay to win, which is what you insist it is despite you not actually playing the game.
