I'm pretty sure Jesus was against religion too. He preached for people to have a relationship with Him/God instead of self justifying your value and salvation by jumping through hoops.

It’s clever how they sell religion. Like one of those scam emails that starts by warning you about scam emails 🙄
It’s clever how they sell religion. Like one of those scam emails that starts by warning you about scam emails 🙄
It’s funny how Atheists seem so preachy and militant about what they claim to be nothing.

Religion exists. Who said it’s nothing 🙄 there are buildings and books and all sorts 😂
Religion exists. Who said it’s nothing 🙄 there are buildings and books and all sorts 😂
Religions like your own?

I don’t assign to any religion, I have learnt about many though.
I don’t assign to any religion, I have learnt about many though.
Oh, but unknowingly, you do.

Atheism? I’d like to clarify before explaining why that wouldn’t be the case.
Atheism? I’d like to clarify before explaining why that wouldn’t be the case.
Then why do you hesitate?

Atheism? I’d like to clarify before explaining why that wouldn’t be the case.
Then why do you hesitate?
Waiting for you to confirm. Atheism and theism are not religions, they are simply referring to someone’s acceptance of a god, any god. There are religions that do not have a god of sorts, followers of these religions are still intact atheist, despite assigning to a religion. Saying atheism is a religion is like saying theism is a religion, it doesn’t make much sense. What you mean to call it is a ‘belief’, religions largely depend on beliefs but again a belief in itself is not a religion. Though some come mighty close like the belief in America’s gun rights. I hope you actually read this 😕

Much like how many ascribe to Christianity as a religion instead of an active and living relationship. Religion and belief are tied closely like the two strands of DNA of your genetic makeup. Your actions are symptoms of your beliefs, and that is what religion is in another aspect.

Calling atheism a religion or a belief is a really minor thing that is more a debate on language than religion anyway. Call atheism and Christianity whatever you want 🤷♂️

Call it as you wish 🤷♂️ I’m sure there are more interesting topics to discuss.

I see that Atheists suffer more from circular reasoning than those they accuse, as you demonstrate.

A religion has a lot more to it than one specific belief. These definitions are the majorities reality, it is your definitions that are more skewed and bubbled from reality.

That you submit to consensus for your thoughts is amusing. Weren’t Atheists supposed to be skeptics? You’ve passed judgment on that you have no knowledge of. Typical behavior of Atheists.

Dismissive then. Typical behaviour of a defensive theist. 🤷♂️
