Duplicate exotics have ruined the game for me
We are putting in duplicate protection they said, at least it will be armor that can be random rolled they said. Screw you bungie. Who wants 5 different exotic acd/feedback fences. Can't get new exotics because of your bullshit. I've gotten duplicates the last 12 times, you pretty much ruined the game with this rng. It would be one thing if they all came with the enhanced perks, but they don't. I also don't want 4 of the same exotic year one weapons. You didn't do what you said, and I'll take that as my money doesn't matter, so I'll spend it elsewhere. I can't wait for February 15th.

13 RespuestasThe lack of exotics in general, and worth while loot* See...the community bitched and moaned that bungie was "giving away" exotics, so what did bungie do. They took away 3oC, removed exotics from vendor pools, legendary engrams etc, and completely bombed the drop rates. Now, even if you do manage to get a drop, they're so rare that you don't even get excited. There's no excitement or sense of reward because people are going months without a single drop, and it's ridiculous. The current loot system is an atrocity.

What happened to me this past 2 weeks finally exotics started dropping for me, and finally forsaken 1s too! But I worn my self out, content so boring and stale. I've done everything so much, grinded till my fingers fell off and now that I have half of the exotics I just am not enjoying it. It would of been more fun to have these in middle of the dlc life cycle but bungie wanted to stretch it soooo much that ppl are leaving, or dont care, or waiting got other games. I just wish xur would be useful so ppl who are unlucky can get a shot at certain exotics they cant get, or have fated engrams be for new exotics. Or have bounties or 3oC something, anything to nudge a little luck towards players. Honestly everyone I come across all say 1 thing. How is it 1 guy can be afk and plays 2 to 3x a week with only few hrs to show for it, when someone else does everything on all 3 characters and even after they done with milestones go grind nf or other activities to get a chance of exotic but still dont recieve nothing. For crying out loud, I went through the whole forsaken dlc without a single exotic except 2 that dropped but were duplicates then never saw any exotics again. Then 2 weeks ago I was bored, logged in did my milestone and got 3 new forsaken exotics, then the following week for 3 more out of no where. And I mentioned, didnt get excited or happy. More like wtf, now you want to give me these when I'm done with your content and I'm burned out ?? Really hope everyone gets what they grind for, hopefully they can make adjustment to exotics so it wont be this scarce. Not asking it to drop like bad candy on halloween but this? This is just stupid

3 RespuestasI didn’t have a duplicate problem until recently. I’m only missing one exotic, heart of inmost light. I’ve gotten hollowfire heart, mk. 44 stand asides, ursa furiosa, one-eyed mask, khepri’s horn, and aeon safe in the last 3 weeks as duplicates, but no heart of inmost light lol I’ve also gotten thunderlord, tractor cannon, and graviton lance as exotic drops. I didn’t even think thunderlord could drop as an exotic, but it does. Bungie clearly trolling giving players duplicates when they need stuff they don’t have.

8 RespuestasOne of several reasons I uninstalled the game a few weeks ago. The best though, is that Bungie is going to start restricting PVP activity due to internet connection because they were too cheap to buy dedicated servers instead blaming the consumer. It will take an awful lot for me to ever purchase a Bungie game again.

I can clearly state that over 95% of my powerful and prime engrams ALWAYS turn out into some piece of armor AND when it turns out into a weapon, 95% of the times I get either a sidearm or a grenade launcher. This is a deeply flawed RNG, imo.

Oh man. I haven’t received an exotic in quite awhile and was so bummed out when Aeon Swift gauntlets dropped for me last night. Just knowing that my next two or three exotic drops will likely be Aeon Swift dupes is not a good feeling at all.

Last 4 drops were all dups. Missing the good new exotics which sucks. I only have the Mask but I don't PvP much outside of getting my comp weapon. I agree that the frequency of getting duplicates is still WAAAAY too high right now for how rare exotics are. Plus, im at 10 SotP clears and have only seen 1 of the exotic grenade launcher drop for any of my static members. That's waaay too low of a drop for a meh exotic.

My play time has went down 80% because of this. If I get an exotic it’s an old one. Tired of grinding out milestones for nothing.

6 RespuestasWas playing red dead redemption 2 the other day and I did a mission that took maybe 30 or so minutes nothing crazy. And you know something happened. I beat the mission. I got no xp, no money, no new loot, etc. I just completed the mission. But I enjoyed the misison And that made me realize something. Destiny doesn't really have that. The content isn't that satisfying if there's not loot dropping or a carrot to chase. And I think that's a problem

1 RespuestaI feel the same way. I have been playing as much as I can this week and the only exotic I got was a Y1 dupe. Feels more like a chore than playing for fun. And the problem is not only exotics, things like the Dreaming city shell, sparrow and ship being tied to non farmable weekly events makes it ultra hard to get them. I have been doing every Dreaming City milestone with 3 chars and I'm still missing the ghost and the ship. With Anthem there is some hope they will do things right.

I got a coldheart from the daily baron adventure while I had a coldheart equipped (that dropped earlier). Sometimes, this game wants me to suffer.

This is why I quit playing this game. I got a new 4k TV just after Xmas and wondered how d2 would look. I did 1 strike got a sniper 1 light above what I was and then turned it off. Unrewarding as ever still.
