Bungie's spawns are the worst out of any game ive ever played.
I just played a match where a guy shotgunned me off spawn. SHOTGUNNED. He was literally close enough to shotgun me before i could move, and this happened several times. Just fix the spawns bungie. PLEASE

2 things wrong. 1 The maps are too small, they were designed for 4v4, so it can happen time to time. 2 No immunity when you spawn, overshield doesn't help apparently.. Every -blam!-ing enemy in the game has a immunity mechanic, why not fresh spawning gaurdians? Like for 1.5 seconds orso

the spawns in Destiny has to be near to at least one team mate and no opponent in in close proximity. most of the maps in Destiny are much too small for 6v6

Iron banner spawns were pretty bad for some reason. I got shotgunned 4 times in a row one game. I’d spawn and the dead.

Tbh I find it quite funny. I'm unloading shotgun shells into an enemy and another spawns right into my gunfire lol.

I agree. Sometimes spawning feels downright like it is trying to rig the outcome of a match. I spawned into a rocket not meant for me. I spawned into a roaming super 2 times after getting killed by it initially. I spawned in the middle of 3 enemies. I had 2 fresh enemies spawn on a Guardian I just took down...and so on...

5 RespuestasThey cant fix the spawns in a game that was designed from day 1 to be 4v4. Did everyone forget that? Going from 8 to 12 players on these tiny maps is not going to work correctly. Im surprised it works at all when it does.

Gambit spawning is atrocious. Obviously the invader is already waiting at my spawn point to kill me again.

I could see this fresh desecration of my corpse, as if I was right there, now that I remember, I was... I was Leopard crawling towards him, and as I was about to attack, he turned around. I Panicked and threw my Melee in his direction right before we exchanged kills. My Melee hit me in the back of the head as Re Spawned and I died again. Call of Duty was so Fun. I sniped this one guy and then minded my own business until I found him spawning again and I just had to do him like that... res spawns we’re always so satisfying in D1

Seriously, last night I spawned at exactly the same time, in EXACTLY the same spot as an opposing player. I spawned INSIDE an enemy guardian! W T F !?(that last sentence is a keeper) Lucky I got the jump on him/her and won the engagement.

That almost never happens. It’s usually the same nova/spec blades guy that just killed you. Still in his super to kill you again lol

You think that's worse? Let me introduce you to the FPS game called "Call of Duty." Worse spawn ever and still haven't fix or anything for YEARS. It's almost as the developers intentionally design it that way.

In Titanfall 2, you can literally spawn and immediately get crushed by an enemy titan, which imo is worse. But yes, this game needs better spawns. If Bungie had D2 maps that had the same size as First Light from D1, spawns would never be an issue.
