Just played my 1st match of comp this season, since I'd like to try and finish my Luna quest. My team's glory points were 0 (me), 0, 30, and a 700s. The other team was a team of 4 with Lunas and Not Forgottens in the 2800s and above. I'm starting to see why average players complain so much. This is ranked by Glory Points huh? This system is going to drive away anyone that tries comp and isn't above average. Then the good players will move to quickplay to ruin that mode in the same way. The player base will continue to shrink until all PvP is gone. Seems that kind of stuff is already happening though.

Tips if anyone wants them. Go into private matches to learn names of map locations, good for when you play in a team. That can help with map knowledge and then you can also practice jumps and how to travel around the map. Playing in the mornings can be easier than in the evenings. Using meta weapons and a strong offensive super definitely helps. If you cant find good people in LFG to play with, its probably because their skill level is better than yours (no offense meant), I also run into this issue. I have an approximate 1.2 KD and 1.7 KDA. I try to use solo matchmaking help me find friends. If you play a match and you like one or two people you played with, send them a "GG" good game, and ask if they would like to party up and play together. Why I think this is a good idea, Bungie matched you up with them, they probably have a similar skill level and are in a similar spot in grinding glory. Learn strategies for "Countdown", usually kill an enemy and rush the survivors. Don't arm the bomb unless you kill one of theirs first. Practice in Rumble or QP new weapons and supers. Probably common knowledge, If you are the only one with a super, that can be a great time to use yours. No one around to counter you easily with a super of their own. Also you start generating orbs for your team mates so they can get their supers going. Masterwork armor for more defense while in super form My load out that got me Luna’s last season was: Bubble titan with Armamentarium, two suppressor nades neutralize roaming supers, takes practice Bygones: Headseaker and Kill clip, drifter has a good one, just need one reset. Telesto: Just nasty. I have two fusion scavenger perks so I get 3 ammo per brick. Play of the game: Blast masterwork, Volatile Launch, Prox Mines.

No I can't stacks v solos and I have shit mates. I'll never get Luna's unless they make it a personal performance weapon

Play during double xp week and get the ranks out of the way, the game remembers you reached it. Then just focus on getting kills. That's what I tried doing last time but I ran out of motivation.

I got to 1900 solo last season. There were moments I wanted to physically hurt my teammates and I threw my controller at a wall so hard it shattered, but I stuck it through and got the Luna. People who complain about it being too hard are just justifying giving up to themselves.

I gave up on the solar kills part. I cant do it bruh. I csng do anything against grenade wielding 4 stacks. I surrender

Let me just ask before I complain here... when did you get Lunas? Ive been at 1600-1700 and Im dropping back and forth because literally everyone else has Luna's howl and Im struggling to land headshots with Ace of Spades before being crossmapped by a LH/NF. Explain to me how I can even conceive of getting it this season... when i can only get 1 headshot kill per game with a primary if Im lucky?

False, even last season when I was at 3000 glory I would get teammates who had five total comp matches played. Bungie simply has an algorithm that heavily favors four stacks no matter their particular skill level. They want us all to play with others and this to be a social experience.

How do I win? I have Luna's. I want to find a team I can get to legend with. The clan I'm in is strictly PvE. Going solo gives me leavers and trashcan teammates. When I do find good teammates, they ignore my messages. I tried lfg too but everyone there is either looking for a carry by asking for people better than they are, or trying to sell recovs and carries. When I make my own posts, people join up but leave almost immediately or they're trash. I'm at a loss here. What can I do?

Not much you can do against DDoSing, though.
