Why is it so hard to understand THIS IS NOT A Expansion DLC... IT IS The SEASON of black armory DLC.
So alot of people think that black armory was a expansion dlc . Technically it is a seasonal DLC, so instead of it all being available at once they are spreading across an entire season . This is so there is something to look forward to each week. I know it's out of the normal process but they are trying something new give it sometime before we cast stones . Hope this helps. 59 RespuestasGo watch the ign review on fireteam chat. Destin gets it 100% correct. What they added should be free seasonal content. Not a charge. They took a dlc stripped all the story, strikes, and pvp maps and gave us this for the same price and people like you just smile and nod. They are selling us far less for the same price. Had this all dropped at once it would have been a feeding frenzy due to lack of content.

What do you mean the dawning crimson days and iron banner have been free the whole time so the only thing this season is bringing is 5 exotics (most time gated) a new raid and another escalation protocol.

Bungie could have bothered to put 1 new Strike in. Something interesting. The game isnt exactly starving for a Horde mode. EP, horde mode, Blind Well, horde mode, Gambit, Competitive horde mode, Forge, horde mode... They could have incentivized EP and Blind Well with new weapons or armor, and given us a Mercury sized Patrol Zone and a small story. CoO was a seasonal dlc, not a proper expansion. Black Armory should have been closer to CoO.

Totally lackin though. If this is the kind of dlc we have until spring than this game is in trouble. No new strikes, stories or planets. The new forge will be crap in two weeks and the people will realize how this game is shallow again. Bungie didn't learn from mistakes. They want to appease the hardcore users, thats fair. However, no expansion will leave this game boring. You can only run forsaken content for so long before it becomes boring.

Forge is not bad.... but I'd take out every other PvE activity if they brought [url=http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Firefight]Firefight[/url] to Destiny. I believe 343 did not acquire this mode so Bungie should still be able to use it. There's a bunch of "skulls" in this game in the form of Heroic modifiers and plenty of enemy types (new ones can and should be introduced) to flood the Firefight mode with plenty of replay-ability. [spoiler]I thought Gambit was going to be Destiny's version of Firefight, but I was sadly wrong. [/spoiler]

I’m actually fine with staggered content if there’s enough each time more becomes available. What I’m not fine with is the first portion of content having a boss with a power level recommendation that doesn’t coincide with even the highest power level available prior to its release.

Curse of Osirus was a seasonal DLC as well. People complained plenty about that as well. I was new to the game and didn't complaint, thought it was OK, but in comparison to the DLC Content we received in Warmind - started to understand the difference. and the DLC we received in Forsaken - MAN, what a difference. Black Armory - bounties (locked) Black Armory forge weapons (locked) Black Armory - Ada-1 able to speak with her though she doesn't really say anything other than be careful titan tight corners in this place and many breakable things to bump into. Kind of disappointing was hoping to actually DO something. oh, you can run NF again, you can run Gambit again. Well after grinding my butt off last week for two "pinnacle" weapons, kind of burnt out. really wanted something new to do.

The problem is they sold something before acknowledging what it was or what they were going to do with it. All of D1 Expansions were expansions. D2 all expansions were expansion until right this moment. It was mentioned during a Q&A prior to the reveal that the location of Forsaken was already identified at the end of the red war campaign and all other expansions. Thats the biggest hint they dropped that it was the Reef before it was even announced. end game clip in question attached. after the reef is reached by the light, you see saturn and the dreadnaught.
