Like seriously ffs, i can understand people getting pissed off at shotguns, considering the giant leap from D2's ammo and ttk to D1's, but single shot gl's? are you BLAM-ing kidding me?! thats now no skilled and op?. As someone who used 3 gl's towards the end of S4 i can say those things require skill to use effectively, plus, the reason most people are using them right now is for that pinnacle gl, it's use will go down in time. They DO NOT need to be nerfed at all, nor are they "low skill" like all the crucibabies are saying.
GROW. A. PAIR.

2 RespuestasThey were trying to cater to the casual crucible community (the majority unfortunately) but this has backfired because a good player with a grenade launcher (and probably not forgotten) will always beat a bad player with that same grenade launcher. Simply put, it is impossible to give bad players a concrete advantage without resorting to sketchy tactics such as artificial lag or further increasing the number of one-shot easy trade abilities.

5 RespuestasWhy do you think they were called noob tubes back in 2008. People hate them no matter the game. Just the way it is I suppose.
-
its 2009 all over again theres a reason theyre called noob tubes

7 RespuestasBeen trying out fighting lion and I can't for the life of me kill anyone with that thing... Now Militias Birthright with proximity is pretty stupid. lol
-
1 RespuestaI’ve been running the Lion since the Osiris buff and now people are calling it a Cruch!!! WHY?! I swear if my NLB comes back and people want a nerf I’ll scream.
-
1 RespuestaLaughs in feedback fence
-
Affix bayonets!
-
Nobody likes to admit when they pushed at the wrong time and got killed as a result. Its unfortunate my favorite archetype of grenade launchers is being hated on
-
4 Respuestas200 melee kills, 50 melee ability kills with void subclasses, 25 sword hilt kills, then reach fabled glory rank. Return to Lord Shaxx to claim "These Hands", the new crucible pinnacle gauntlets. Instrinsic perk is 'Catch!': all grenade abilities launch magic-missles at the enemy that nerf fusion rifles.
-
1 RespuestaAssuming it’s meant for the Mountaintop, since that thing looked insane in the trailer.

3 RespuestasEditado por Pocket Fox: 11/30/2018 6:29:02 AMIf I had a nickel for everytime I bounced a grenade between a minion of the darkness's feet in PvE I swear, lol. These things either work differently in PvP or players are hella good at using the trigger release. It might be somewhat the latter, but I think there's a healthy dose of the former going on too, given how many times I've seen grenades expode on terrain hits. In PvE, they NEVER expode on terrain hits, they will bounce into oblivion. There are just SOOOOOO many terrain explosions going on in PvP, something smells fishy.
-
1 RespuestaThey're so inconsistent for me... some times direct hits will kill.. others it will do little to nothing...
-
As a player who does not participate in crucible (as in the only crucible I ever do is to go to rumble and not shoot anyone until I get my daily/weekly drop) I would find it hilarious to see melee become some meta XD
-
11 RespuestasOr you could, I don’t know, use a primary. Something that takes skill, maybe, that takes a bit more aim than a scrub-ass shotgun.
-
Editado por Tydrimar: 12/1/2018 7:26:39 AMWell gl is an easy weapon to use and I do agree it doesnt require much skill to use.
-
7 Respuestas
the reason most people are using them right now is for that pinnacle gl, it's use will go down in time.
Yup. Just like Shotguns went out of fashion after everyone had Chaperone's quest finished, and Sleeper quieted down after everyone got Ace/Chaperone/Malfeasance, and Pulses were left by the wayside after everyone finished Redrix. Destiny is a game of lowest common denominators, and players are going to use a) what everyone else is using and b) whatever some spreadsheet, streamer, or Reddit thread says is statistically "the best." It's always been that way, from the days of Last Word and Thorn through Doctrine of Passing, Uriel's Gift, Antiope, that whole Colony period, and most recently Bygones, IKELOS_SG, and Sleeper/Queenbreaker. Problem is, any time they tinker with the top-performing weapon, Bungie seem to forget that all they're doing is making #2 the new #1, and they'll have to nerf it next...it's a neverending cycle of mediocrity that won't stop until someone says "Yeah, it's a grenade launcher, it's SUPPOSED to kill you."
-
Exactly.
-
They need to be direct hit to be OHK, so as long as you’re moving around making yourself harder to kill then you’ll be ok
-
4 RespuestasMost people don’t take the time to learn to use them properly. I’m rarely killed by one. They’ll be seeing a lot more use now, and it can be annoying being on the other side of a hail of grenades. I wonder how the other team felt in this match: https://youtu.be/L2xTNYninWw
-
1 RespuestaNobody even has the gun yet, everyone will continue to use shotguns. Life goes on, plus Shaxx gives out a shotgun when you hit legend in valour.
-
4 RespuestasPersonally, since I earned Luna's I'm giving kinetic snipers a try. Couple sniper mods, while actually grabbing ammo is a pain it is extremely satisfying to scope a guy.
-
8 RespuestasDid you see like 1 post complaining and then make this?

1 RespuestaTldr Anyone who says git gud (you) needs to give some better advice and suggestions. Seriously.
-
5 RespuestasI don’t understand all this hate towards special ammo grenade launchers. I maybe get killed by one 1-2x in 5 matches. Most people are just still using shotguns and the people that are using breach loaders miss 95% of the time.
-
3 RespuestasI might be dumb, but what’s breachloading..?
-
You’re arguing against people who think literally anything that kills them is OP. It’s a losing battle.
