They don’t want to act like animals/become animals. It’s just a hobby. The majority DO NOT own fursuits or even have a fursona.
English
-
Yet they still identify as animals therefore i can hunt them
-
The majority dont identify as animals because they are human.
-
Haha thats a funny joke! furries are people psh what's next dogs are casseroles?
-
People do eat cats and dogs... you do know that, right?
-
Oh yeah but dog casseroles? Doesn’t exist
-
Point is, they are human. You CANNOT hunt them. Even if you think you can that makes you not right in the noggin. If you don’t see people as human for a hobby then you must not have a lot of people who respect you... or a lot of friends for that matter
-
See my point is that through this entire discussion you did not think for a second that perhaps he’s joking
-
I just don’t like jokes about MURDERING OTHER PEOPLE. It isn’t right morally. If I walked up to you, held a gun to your head, and said “bro it’s just a joke”, would I get away with it?? HELL NO.
-
That's a completely different situation that you can't use as a point as it doesn't prove your point. If you didn't like the joke that's fine, everyone has a different sense of humor and while one person finds something funny someone else might not. But you can't bring ethics or morals and then try and make me look like some kind of asshole when it's clearly meant to be a harmless joke on the internet.
-
It isn’t harmless if you are talking about straight up murder. No, I didn’t like it. BUT if it wasn’t as extreme as it was I wouldn’t have said anything
-
Why was six afraid of seven?
-
Because 7 8 9. If you are trying to make a point about cannibalism it isn’t going to work. They are numbers, not people.
-
No because seven is a registered six offender. Am I now a rapist for making that joke? Or am I just making a harmless joke about a touchy subject?
-
I never called you a r*pist and i never called you a murderer. Im just saying that it can really hurt people and some jokes should be kept to yourself. Murder isn’t just a “touchy subject” fyi
-
Neither is -blam!-, racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. But we make jokes abou them, why? Because some people find jokes poking fun of something horrible funny, doesnt mean everyones gonna find it funny, doesnt mean that some people won't be offended by it but at the end of the day, it's joke that youre supposed to laugh about not a statement for you to debate. That's why comedians appear on comedy shows and not on tedtalks. Would i realistically support or participate in murdering furries? No absolutely not! But I don't say that on a shitpost why because that's not funny. That's boring and expected of anyone who's human. But saying that if furries want to be animals and i have the right to hunt them is completely unexpected and some people will find it funny, doesnt mean everyone will, cause humor is subjective but some people will. My point is it's a harmless joke that's not meant to be taken seriously, if you dont like it thats fine, if I actually in someway or another hurt you or anyone else in anyway with it then i am sorry. But don't go trying to make me look like an asshole over some dumb joke that you'll end up forgetting about in the next hour or something.
-
It’s okay. It’s just this is the one subject that I do get worked up about. I need to work on that. It ticks me off when people make “jokes” that just are not correct or funny to me at the same time. But I’m not stopping you from making jokes.
-
If something doesn't make you feel right, then you have the right to voice it nothing wrong with that. But's important to remember what the source material you're speaking out about is, as to know the right way to approach it. So to end this off i'd like to apologize yet again if i hurt you with the joke and that i hope you have a pleasant day/night/whatever :)
-
The same to you. Im glad we could come to an understanding.
