One thing I've suggested during D1: Why not make the emote wheel like Overwatch or Ark? You hold the "down" directional button, an emote wheel pops up, you use the right analog to select the emote and voila. The other directions could be used as "item shortcuts" since the menu takes so long to load. It would make things simpler and quicker.
