Perhaps I don't understand how this super is supposed to work so maybe someone can clarify for me. Doesn't the tooltip state that you will conserve some super energy if you deactivate early? I've been reading tons of posts about it being broken and read that bungie is looking into it but havent seen any updates about them fixing it. Not to mention every time I deactivate mine whether its after a few seconds of using it or nearly immediately after using it my bar goes straight to 0. Theres basically no point in stopping the super, just blow your load and spin in all directions while you have it.
Now the post this below about tuning the energy cost of deactivating early. How can they tune it to be more punishing than having 0 super energy returned to you like it is in it's current state? Shouldn't they be focusing on that first or am I missing something?
"For Chaos Reach, we’re tuning the energy cost of deactivating Chaos Reach early. The intent of this tuning pass is to make it more rewarding to skillfully time your early deactivation when using this super. Essentially, it will be more punishing to deactivate the Chaos Reach Super extremely early, but less punishing when deactivating later in the Super."

You need to cancel a few seconds after like at 50 to conserve the most energy. If you could retain all the energy you’d be able to spam it. To combat that they made it to where the longer you use it, the more energy you get back. I think. It’s still not much.

This was not a good idea to begin with. They should of given us the ability to shut it down, hover around like Stormtrance and use it again.

2 RespuestasThat ability should never have been implemented. If it worked like it says, everyone would be a storm caller in pvp. They need to scrap it entirely and give us a new ability.

Editado por ClovenTrack620: 11/11/2018 2:05:36 AMgiving us the ability to do this was a mistake from the start. did Bungie seriously think people wouldn't abuse the living crap out of this if it worked the way we thought it would, come on man

Good post and all true, but I'd advise that if you have them wear the Geomag stabilizer Warlock boots when using Chaos reach, they make that super way more useful.
