Frankly, I get the spectral blades subclass right out of the gates by accident and well I'm honestly having a hard time justifying using it over the other two void hunter subclasses.
The Spectral Blades ult is fun but lacks the utility of both of the other void subclasses, melee-grenade is underwhelming at best, the precision kill for invis is nice, but the precision kill to melee perk seems annoying to use and out of place.
I'm not here to rip the subclass, just asking for someone to "enlighten me" if you will, because I'm rather disillusioned by the entire subclass.

If your always aiming for the head and your accurate, Flawless execution is the best passive perk in the game. It gets better the better you are at aiming and moving. Yes the super is poo but if I can only have one thing ( a good super or nerfed Execution, I would take the poo super and just use it for the damage resist to get out of tough pinches)

The melee buff in terms of range is helpful in PvP. The damage part of the melee ability is basically melting point with no cooldown. The grenades can be very good but they require a fair amount of experience using for proper placement. The smoke is less effective than other smokes but still pretty solid for a ranged melee (better than knives). Truesight is what stands out and is only really effective if you are comfortable using precision weapons. It allows you a major advantage against every opposing player on the map and is in my opinion the strongest perk in the game. I’ve used hunter much less than warlock since the release of 2.0 but when I do play it its mostly either spectral blades or the new arcstrider because they change how you can play engagements.
I might be using blade barrage a lot more now though since I got shards of galanor the other day...
2 RespuestasIts useable in PvE but I hate the "you gotta crouch" gimmick. Like how does being crouched even translate into turning you invisible? Is it a nod to turning invis after crouching for a few seconds as a blade dancer? I always imagined I crouched and hit a button or some shit.. at least smoke bombs make sense lmao. But yeah.. dont use it for PvE. Nightstalker/ Trapper tree/ Orpheus Rigs Gunslinger/ Way of a Thousand Cuts tree/ Shards of Galanor These are what you want to use for PvE. Cant go wrong.

6 RespuestasIt's good if you want to feel like a bladedancer, but you don't want anybody to get hurt.
-
I planned on maining it until I found out you had to get kills......crouching. No thanks, I'd rather be dead
-
2 RespuestasByakugan on crouching precision kills is a strong feature
-
Well there’s no point until they fix hit detection.

Watch this!
-
see through walls...
-
Because how else can you and your best friend annoy people while shouting SASUKE - NARUTO !
-
You shouldn't
-
Because it looks anime as -blam!-
-
Shattering strike is pretty decent I've heard, but I still like my tether

4 RespuestasWhat everyone fails to mention (probably because a small percentage of D2 players have it - Gwisin Vest - watch a video on its savagery coupled with Spectral blade. THEN tell me what you think about the supers potential. Though if you don't have the exotic chest armour then NO don't use it ! Raiden flux arc spear is still number one adclear/boss slayer IMO I am a hunter through and through.

1 RespuestaChaperone flawless execution that’s why
-
2 RespuestasThe only time I use it is when I have to get void kills.
-
I dont use it at all. Only long enough to fully upgrade it. My permanent Hunter subclass is Trapper. Ill switch up for strike specific singes sometimes, or to do a bounty, but even then im still wearing my Orpheus Rigs.
-
Who doesn’t want to be a ninja? I know I do!
-
If you want to use it, then use it....not sure what you're getting at here 🤔
-
Even with Gwisin Vest, an exotic that supposedly increases duration, it still sucks
-
1 RespuestaIt’s perk (shattering strike[?] I think that’s what it’s called) is just like melting point but doesn’t run on a cool down meaning it is a better utility in certain situations.
-
I mean... It looks pretty cool i guess...

1 RespuestaI have been mainly using Spectral blades ever since Forsaken came out. I’ve gotten pretty good with it. That being said there are only 2 reasons to use this subclass. For PvE the only reason you’d use the subclass path is so you can go invisible very often and to debuff bosses. For PvP the only reason to use the subclass path is for Flawless execution. Notice that I didn’t mention super at all. That because this super is borderline useless PvP and is outclassed by other supers in PvE.

Editado por OldboyVicious: 10/29/2018 5:58:06 PMHave you tried it against a boss? If you can get a fireteam together, have them run good DPS shotguns, then go to a raid or strike or gambit, etc. Crouch, get a precision kill, then melee the boss while you're invisible. You pop your super and ravage the boss, your teammates shotgun it, and it melts fast. If it's still alive by the time your super runs out, dodge back from the boss, crouch, get a precision kill, then melee the boss again and shotgun it. If you have the Ikelos shotgun, you'll do massive damage. If you cant fet a fireteam together, get Ikelos shotgun if you dont already have it, and just use the invis melee debuff on a boss and then shotgun it. The melee procs the debuff on the boss and the damage buff on Ikelos at the same time, and when you see the bosses health bar, I think you'll be surprised at how damage you do. Same with any powerful enemies you come across, melee while invis, then Ikelos shotgun. It's a pretty powerful combo. I know that this is a pretty specific build, but it's a powerful boss melter. The precision kills for invisibility are also really good for going invisible to grab ammo, orbs, and revives, as well as saving yourself from ads if you're about to die.

The exotic chest piece that extends the super makes it feel more in line with the baseline of other supers. And the precision kill for invis is waaaaay better than D1 blade dancer crouching for 2 seconds + a cool down. On top of that “melting point” is way more useful since you’re invis on your way to get to a boss, so you don’t get melted as much as Titans trying to pull it off, or have to wait for a melee charge to reuse. But yeah, blade barrage is absurd for melting anything. The utility of being able to go invis is just really nice for playing a support role in tougher activities.

1 RespuestaI thought it was weak at first but then started playing it how it should be played, passive, info gathering. The true power of the subclass is info, seeing through walls and tracking a target helps your overall game. The super is lackluster and only good for a kill or 2.
