Who else still doesn’t like the idea of Subclass trees?
D1 Subclasses had both levelling And customisability. They need a return imo.
Just imagine how much of a game changer it would be to have Nova Warp and Devour on at the same time. Don’t get me wrong I by no means think that Warlocks need a buff. It’s just an example. I’ve never played Titan or Hunter so I don’t now what kind of other OP combinations there’d be on them. Tbh I think they really need to slightly decrease the range and duration of Nova Warp.
Putting customisable subclasses into the game at this point will require a lot of balancing but I hope we get to see it in D3
Either way what are your thoughts?

Absolutely. They need to take the D1 skill tree and expand/enhance/fix that model. The D2 skill tree is laughable.
-
Bring back the tasty destiny 1 style customization. More RPG!
-
Although you make a good point I am sorry to say that it will probably be even more simplified in D3. Catering to the casual players and those who only play limited times

D1 had the 2nd most half assed skill trees I've ever seen in a video game

Absolutely. Destiny 1 complexity should be minimum. Build from that!

15 RespuestasEditado por Salamander: 10/28/2018 12:32:21 PMHoly cow...stop asking for D3. There shouldn't even be a D3 at this rate. Most of D2 should have been part of D1. The only thing good about D2 was the base campaign and the DLCs were the same common practice that took place before The Taken King. It's really like you guys enjoy to be taken advantage of. Look, there's definitely a few pros, especially with Forsaken. I like Forsaken, a lot. But CoO and Warmind were jokes. You know what was a joke too? The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and so was Rise of Iron. The only thing good about that was it's short campaign which should've been longer. I'm glad some of you truly enjoy this game, but D3 will be the same flop as D2 with Bungie's current practices. But its not just Bungie, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 sold for a full $60 without a campaign. You know what? I can't even blame the gaming companies when people are always so willing to throw away their money for half the content. D3 will be the same. You guys will never get your "perfect Destiny" game. So keep blaming the streamers, the PvPers etc. They aren't the problem. The core of this game is PvE truly, but these problems won't go away with current gaming practices from these companies because the consumer is ok with it. Sorry but not sorry. Rant done.

I don't want to wait til D3. Give it to us now. Sshould have been here all along.

I wouldn't have been bothered by subclass paths if there had been more to them. That said, I'd much prefer to be able to mix and match perks to my choosing and have posted and requested it since practically day 1 of D2. Heck, even a middle ground could be struck. 2 (Or three) Paths each with some selectable options. Class depth from the base selection of Warlock, Titan, Hunter to the sublass selection of Solar, Arc, Void to the Path Selection within each Subclass should all have meaningful impact.

Editado por Swift: 10/29/2018 12:34:35 PMhonestly, I just want the option to use Shatter again on my nova bombs.
Exactly how it worked as well, not just 3 mini bombs - I still want to control the spread with a flick my of my thumb
I agree more leveling and customization would be great for d3 but when you use d1 to make references I think it sends the wrong message. The d1 system never would have allowed for some of the build suggestions you outlined and it as well as the current system are far from perfect or what we should ask for in d3. I think we should get a new system separate from either of the iterations we’ve played on that allows for the leveling and customization many players want. To be specific on some features I’d like to see, I’d like a skill tree where you unlock your abilities simply by playing the game but each ability has a series of perks and upgrades specific to it that could be unlocked to make them better. Having multiple skill trees off of an ability could also make it so you don’t have to break it up be supers and have one page that shows everything and allows players to mix-match elemental abilities/supers. Like as a hunter I could use say my knife super with invis dodge and a pulse grenade maybe.

Editado por Whopping Dingers: 10/29/2018 10:43:37 AMWonderful idea. I miss on the warlock having viking funeral with either touch of flame or gift of the sun. Double grenades for crucible and touch of flame for big bosses. They should have just brought the sun singer over but just ditch the self res.

No lumps, lumps mean trouble, always!I do not want 2 things lumped(IB+control)and certainly not 4 things lumped,I say no to attunements ,ways, and code since day 1 of 2.I dream of overcharged grenades and void fart,I also want Icarus dive available in all warlock classes. What about throwing arc knives?I would trade void knives for smoke melee in alot of situations, but it would be nice if that was a choice I had and not have them "build " us like we used to be able to do.I would trade my rift for anything else, and I think all classes should blink.D2 shoulda been D1 + a 4th subclass,a green one, and additional worlds and content. This way just pi55ed me off and reworked the 3 classes that weren't broken in the 1st place.

Hell yes man. According to some leaks by Anon (A well respected leaker from my understanding), Bungie will be emphasizing the RPG side of the game more in D3, so it's possible we'll get them back, or even something better.
-
i think you should have the ability to customize your subclass trees

I just hope they have more jump styles in d3 i’m so tired of the locked in hunter warlock and titan jump styles
-
At this point I have no interest in a D3 after what they have done to this game. So I guess it really doesn't matter what they do with sub classes if other things don't change
-
Yep great thing Oh and my dream build? Moebius quiver, invis dodge, lockdown, invis smoke and dead fall...

Customisable Subclasses + Totally removable and re-usable Mods + transferable perks (only for armors) + Transmogrification = D3 I'd like to see.
