In other words, who do you agree with? I personally agree with Shin.
-
I side with Shin. I dont agree with everything he does, but he's a necessity. If the Shadows of Yor fall like Reyzll did, he's the only one who has the proper experience with hunting and killing Fallen Guardians. Don't get me wrong, the idea behind the Shadows, wielding the Dark for our purposes, isn't inherently bad. It's just, the way they go about doing it can easily lead to a repeat of Yor. The Drifter is also fucking with the Darkness, but in an arguably safer way. He's using motes to kind of mind control Taken Champions instead of trying to dip himself in the Deep.

13 RespuestasWhat are their stances? Personally, I'd watch them kill each other, but I think Shin would die unless he manages a 1v1, but even then, we dunno.
-
2 RespuestasThe Shadows of Yor are just that. Shadows. Only vaguely resembling the flesh and bone that stood before them.

1 Respuesta“I played 200 gambit matches to get that stupid boss to spawn. I killed it, I started the quest, I finished the quest, you gave me the malfeasance, and now you’re saying that some crazy gunslinger is going to come and put a bullet in my head?”- You “Yeah, he is no joke. You saw what he did to Calum. You are now on his list.”- Drifter “Shouldn’t you have told that to me BEFORE I went and helped you?”- You “Would you have helped me if I did?”- Drifter “No”- You “You answered your own question, friend.”- Drifter “If he kills me, I will kill you”- You “Come on! You killed gods! A single gunslinger shouldn’t even bother you!”- Drifter “Does he bother you?”- You “Well, yes. He kinda limits my business... But I’m not the god killer, you are.”- Drifter “And what would I do if he comes after me?”- You “I dunno, blast him to bits? If the guy wants to kill you, kill him back!”- Drifter “Well, I do have a vault filled with guns...”- You “See? That’s the spirit! If he comes, blast him with that fusion rifle you got, One Thousand Voices!”- Drifter “Yeah, I coul... Wait, how do you know I have that gun?”- You “You, er, used it on gambit!”- Drifter “No, I didn’t”- You “Let’s not get into details here. That’s not the topic of this conversation”- Drifter “Wait, were YOU the one that tried to break into my vault to steal weapons?”- You “Of course not! Er, what were we talking about? Oh yes! The guy with the golden gun and how you would blast him to bits”- Drifter Then Shin comes in on the place you were talking “Drifter, I let you start gambit because I trusted you when you said that it wouldn’t matter on anything, but then I hear rumors that you’ve been distributing Thorn replicas to guard... Wait, who in hell is this guy?”- Shin “A friend! A gambit player! You shouldn’t care about him! We were just discussing the best rolls for the Trust handcannon!”- Drifter “Were you really discussing that?”- Shin The Drifter then whispered “support me on this one! If you don’t, if he is going to kill us both!”- Drifter “Yes, we were! You see, there is actually this curated roll that you can rarely get that is pretty...”- You “I’ve heard enough. Drifter, if these rumors turn out to be true, we will need to have a serious conversation, and you might not like it. And you. I’ll keep an eye on you from now on. You are getting involved on some serious business, and I don’t want you to have a similar fate to a friend of the Drifter, Calum. You seem like a nice guy. But now I have some more important business to attend. I’m going to watch you closely now, Drifter.”- Shin Shin leaves the place “That went well! Neither of us died!”- Drifter “Wait, did he threaten me?!”- You “He did. You gonna blast him to bits now?”- Drifter “Maybe...”- You “Good! Now, I need some more motes! Go play some gambit! Don’t forget that you are being paid!”- Drifter

5 RespuestasI care not for either, but the Shadows possess the Thorn replicas. The Thorn is my favorite weapon, so if picking them gets my gun back, then I've made my choice. Once I get it, their remaining Light is just power for me to gain.

16 RespuestasLol “To those people who have earned the “Dredgen” title in Gambit. Congratulations, you are now on Shin Malphurs hit list”. - Myelin Games
-
Any guardian who makes a claim for the dark better have the capability to end me without one of Rasputin’s toys. That’s where I stand.
-
From a moral and neutral point of view, I don’t like either side really. The Shadows support Dredgen Yor (hope I got the name right. Correct me if I’m wrong) who made the corruptive thorn and was essentially a madman, no, WAS a madman. Shin killed him. Yes, but Shin didn’t stop there. He is hunting down guardians who supported Yor, and while the Shadows aren’t trustworthy as they are essentially a mad cult, they are STILL light bearers. And frankly, Shin doesn’t have the authority, nor the right to take matters into his own hands like this. If anything, The Vanguard should monitor both the Shadows, and Shin.

18 RespuestasI don't side with the Shadows, I side with the Drifter who I see as his own man. But the Drifter put me through a trial that made me think. Playing Gambit for Malfeasance, I became frustrated with my teams when they made it difficult to make progress, especially when progress was lost. But once the motes were collected the guardian slaying came next and I started acting a little differently. If I hadn't gotten the four kills I would start working against my own team to drag out the match, sabotage our victories just to get another chance. Waste our invasions when I wasn't fully prepared for the four kill so we would fall behind, let invaders kill me to heal our primeval so the enemy team could catch up. Greed is a corruptive power, people. But Shin, Shin is unstable. He's a broken man with nothing but hate left in him. I take neither side here, only the Drifter's.

Editado por Dagoth Tokodia: 10/27/2018 9:45:59 PMShin must die, no he must be taken. The Shadows can go -blam!- themselves too, I'll show them, I'll kill every one of them as they both are threats to me. But I won't kill them until I gain all their knowledge
If I must I'll go full Dagoth Ur except this time there will be no Nerevar to kill me
17 RespuestasI agree with the shadows more... If we loose the light again we could have a power to fall back on, shin, shin pisses me off, he thinks that all the shadows are bad; when really he's throwing away a chance for a power backstop, he's an idiot, can't wait to kill him...

I have a feeling Shin is on his way to become Dredgen Yor 2.0

5 RespuestasFunny thing is yor let shin kill him so shin would become "special" read the lore shin aint as strong as y'all think
-
5 RespuestasShadows are evil but shin is wrapped in hate and corruption Drifter: you where supposed to destroy the shadows, not join them! Shin:I HATE YOU drifter: I loved you brother.
just had to. But honestly i think shin would win. But I’ve always liked the shadows. They are interesting. But shin probably is full of hatred and it’s not impossible that he is corrupted. You either die a hero or live to se yourself become a villain -I don’t remember wo said that
-
Considering Shadows is the first through X target(s)... Going to go with shin.
-
8 RespuestasNeither Shadows of Yor abandoned the light and Shin Malphur is obsessed with burying his own past. Hopefully they take each other out.
-
2 RespuestasIt’s an awkward one because we get a whole different side of the story that NOONE else has. We know that Yor was corrupted by the hive chitin he flex taped to his gun, and the shadows are correct in saying he was corrupted by no fault of his own. However, shin has his reasons and is technically just in his actions. However, he is unaware that Yor basically let him kill him and is in waaaay over his head.
-
1 RespuestaI love the Drifter and all... But c'mon dude, it's Shin Malphur
-
Hey guys I just recently made a little fan fiction of Shin Maplhur’s trap in gambit. Take a look: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/249356670/0/0

Considering how canonically the God-Slayer Guardian can become a Dredgen, I don’t think it matters who is thinking what on either side.
-
2 RespuestasI mean Shin is trying to stop a bunch of Destiny Darth Vader’s from rising. Seems like a good guy to me
-
I’m not sure because whilst the shadows and dredgens are obviously evil, shin Malphur also seems to have become corrupted. He seems so full of hate and his relentless hunt for the shadows seems to be me that he’s lost his way. Think it’d be best that they were both wiped out, shadows and shin but leave the Drifter alone as he’s not a full shadow

Editado por H1vac: 10/26/2018 12:04:21 AMThe shadows of yor are my buddies. I’d rather die a brother than a brother of a brother from another mother. Brother?
