This was the most stressful grind honest to god i never want to do this again. Not the hardest. The most stressful.
Blade barrage spams, far too frequent heavy spawns allowing wardcliff abuse, molesto laning at pulse ranges are cancer but okay whatever it can be dealt with even if it's annoying, no nerf needed there. What is however not okay, is the lack of dedicated servers resulting in some players having first registration on you a lot of the time. It's those "i definitely shot him at the same time with my shotgun" moments, it's the "why didn't my last burst register on him" moments, it's the how did his second punch get me faster even though i punched him first" moments. Honestly for the love of christ if you are going to have any competitive game mode in Destiny you HAVE to have dedicated servers. The matchmaking is also horrific. There were games where me and my team were nowhere near fabled and were facing 4 stacks all with the lunas howl. There were games where me and my 2.1k glory friends were facing a far superior 4.5k glory team. So again, thanks for the lunas but comp can either get dedicated servers and a rework or just die.

I got the 25 matches for the Broadsword quest and decided that was enough for me.

1 RespuestaYeah, we have been asking for this since Destiny 1, and I can't think of anything less likely to happen
-
16 Respuestasthey have to remove the step that requires the fabled rank , i've played more than 200 matches and i'm always at the same point , playing solo it's not possible to get the luna's , i don't care about the comments that will tell me to get a team or to go to LFG , this gun must be accessible to everyone .

Unfortunately the lack of dedicated servers and Destiny 2 is a problem that has persisted ever since D1. I don't see how anybody can call a competitive game mode competitive if there are no dedicated servers. If you were willing to withstand that garbage to get Luna's howl, then you deserve the gun. I'll pass on that hot mess l, thank you.

3 RespuestasEditado por Edge Lawbringer: 10/16/2018 5:01:23 PMI was shooting at someone in quick play and got em down to about 10% health. They ran for cover and I fired more shots that didn't hit shit and they just died. It's like the game is saying, "That's good enough" or "We know you would've gotten him if he didn't get behind cover, so here's your kill." 😂
all hail Edge Transit
I was one match away from hitting heroic........ Then I lost 2 and won 1 so am in the same boat as before....... When I can get to heroic I can focus on the kills but this feels like it's taking way too long.......

2 RespuestasYo I so thought it was me that was the issue. So glad I'm not the only one that punches first but dies first to their second punch when I'm spamming as fast as I can... I know playing on WiFi I am in it for some troubles. But the lag is real. Wonder what stats I could truly have with no lag?
-
I looked at this quest. Saw the 100 HC precision kills requirement for it. Nope. Nada. No, thanks. I will never again do a quest that requires Hand Cannon precision kills in PvP. I had enough trouble getting 25 for the Ace of Spades. I'll do without the Luna's Howl.

To be serious for a moment: when you see that you shot someone at the same time, or punched someone at the same time it almost never is what actually happens in a network game. Part of the scene you see is what game engine *expects* to happen in the next few milliseconds, not that actually happens. This is called "interpolation", a calculated continuation of a process. Real resolution will come after the delay, and quite often it isn't the same. Like, when you see someone rushing you and shotgun them, that person may actually took a shot earlier, but network didn't deliver that crucial moment for you to register sooner. So, often to be "fair" the resolution system will kill you both, even though one of you were shooting a tad earlier. Now, the problem is that it always happens in any kind of shooter, regardless of the game network topology (p2p, server-based, or hybrid). The only way to fight it is reduce the lag. And this is not as simple as popular misconception dictates "just use pure dedicated servers". Unless the resolution system is changed, unless the interpolation changed, and the most important thing -- networking protocol and transferred data is changed -- you will see the same problems again. So yeah. TL;DR: simply switching to dedicated servers won't help. Serious mode off.

1 RespuestaOnce I get the last 100 headshots and get lunas I'm out (already have 2100 glory). I might try for not forgotten later on but I really hate comp. It's just shotguns. At least in quickplay I can use a primary against anyone if I really want to

1 Respuesta0-3000 glory is cancerous

Try Not Forgotten...

I’m with you on this man.

Lots of lag, nothing more annoying than the lag and dying to players teleporting on the map.
-
The only problem I have with comp is countdown, it’s just not a fun game mode, survival/ elimination should be the mainstay, however I find clash and control to run pretty good in comp too(even though they’re not competitive game modes) it’s mostly a issue of what’s fun vs what’s actually competitive, I did like breakthrough a lot, even though a lot of the community dosent like it

MP has been spamming shotguns since d1 so no one cares about supers being used
-
Well matchmaking, I bet you enjoyed it when your "fabled " people matched newbies. Don't cry about that, you dish it out so you get it back.
